This card has been a game changer for me on numerous occasions. With defending pretty much being tragic this year, Ramos inform seemed to fix this for me. I’d recommend putting a shadow on him for a big boost in pace. With shadow he’s absolutely complete, he’s an absolute brick at the back and with a shadow easily can catch anyone. His value for money is definitely on point as he is a top CB. I’d probably say he’s been the best CB I’ve used this year and I’ve used the likes of Varane, Militao, Dijk ect. He is honestly a complete cb and I even managed to get 2 goals with him from corners (Has the power header trait) if your looking for a CB to fix your defensive issues, inform Ramos Is perfect for you.

Alright this will be my first review here so I’ll just try to be as precise as possible about what to expect from this card.

He kinda feels like a real life Ramos sometimes, good on the ball, composure is great when you need to move the ball with him.

When it comes to defending, he does his job when you need to stop an attack with a risk of getting dribbled, or in danger of being destroyed by someone’s Neymar or Mbappe... but the thing is, can he chase them? Not really. He might catch them 1 or 2 times, but he’ll mostly get left behind on a counter attack, which is kind of a problem when playing weekend league on games against very good opponents, or opponents who only play counter attacking tactics.

He can score headers and is very good in the air defensively, too.

Overall, he’ll be game changing for you if you are someone who likes defending a lot and keeping possession, and are very very careful about counter attacks. I got elite 3 on my weekend using Ramos, but he’s not my kind of player, to be honest, so I got Maldini with my rewards. In case you have doubts but can’t really afford Van Dijk (he might be faster than him), try to pair Ramos up with someone like Varane, someone you can use to track back very quickly and cut a counter attack. I like pressing a lot when I lose the ball, so he wasn’t my best option to do that, so that means that if you’re a bit more passive in attack, and wait for your opponent to attack you, he might suit your team, as his defending is great on 1 on 1s. Use him for penalties, it’s fun he’s as good as in real life.

The absolute GOAT of defenders. This guy has been ever present in 200+ games for me. His defensive positioning is on another level, the only defender I have used in the game that comes out the other end with the ball after a tackle, wins every tackle, every header, if someone gets round him, he is quick to turn and get them back. He keeps the backline in position which is rare in this game because I think all defenders are disabled apart from this guy! An absolute steal at 170K and he scores so many goals for a CB

I PACKED THIS GUY IN A TOTW PACK EARLY ON IN THE GAME THAT I DON'T KNOW WHY IT'S BEEN GIVEN, BUT WHAT CAN I SAY, I'LL TAKE THAT. HE'S MY PENALTY TAKER, I RARELY MISS WITH HIM, I TEND TO CHIP IN THE TOP CORNER, 3 BARS OF POWER, GREAT CARD, PLAY HIM ALONG AN UNTRADEABLE VAN DIJK, SO YOU SHOULD HAVE AN IDEA ABOUT THE DEFENCE.
