The best defender

Unpacked from red player picks. He is a complete defender and after playing 9 games I can say that he is the best defender in the game. His way of destroying opponents in a normal card is powerful. This dribbling, defense, strength is amazing. This card will get more expensive (for this one the moment costs 450k).

All in all, this kartra does not have any weaknesses in the defender position. Sorry for the errors in Angelski.

If you reading this, stop reading and go buy him.

I had the normal version of this card and he was already so good. But ... no ... this card is another level. Honestly I cannot count the number of time my opponent rage quit because they could not even get close to my GK.

Best non-icon CB in the game. He reminds me VVD TOTY in FIFA 19 and FB David Luiz in FIFA 20. Why the best? Because of his aggression, physicality and speed. He is a monster and can catch up all those cheat code players like Mbappé. Press the button in the right time and your opponent is already on the floor looking at the ref while this one doesn't really care.

Is he worth 400k? Hell yes...

Best chem style: Shadow (I am waiting for you Mbappé)

The Goat Defender

This guy is an absolute beast, and I liked him a lot, especially because I’m a Liverpool fan, and yeah, I know that probably Thiago Silva deserved more an IF, but if Maguire is 82 then Gomez could be perfectly an 85 rated. I put him a Shadow because I really like my defenders to be fast, I rather speed than strength but It’s not like if he was weak so he is a beast. He has also great link with Alisson, Trent, and Robertson.

This review is more recent for u guys that are looking to buy him in February and want to know how good he is and if he is worth the 700k price tag (on ps4). The squad I've linked is the squad I am using RIGHT NOW. I have switched up my squad a lot in the past for example I have used baby dinho in the past cos i have him first owner untradeable. But back to the review. Joe Gomez is a beast in the backline and he is the perfect partner for someone very agile. I packed him untradeable at the start of the game and I use him with the shadow chem style. He is insane. He wins almost every tackle and his pace is immaculate. His only big downside is his turning and price which is why I think there may be better options for the price tag.

Only get this man if u have the coins and don't need any more upgrades for your squad and u need a prem and english cb. I 100% do not think he is worth 700k, I think he's worth 400k. This is because I think you can get someone like gosens, upamecano, or diego carlos for a fraction of the price. Not to mention that upamecano and diego carlos are upgradeable.

i was lucky enough to get this guy in my reds a few months back and after over 400 games i think hes one of the best CBs in the game. when i first started using him i had an anchor on him and i thought he wasnt good at all but as soon as a switched to shadow he was a beast he outpaces everyone and bodies them of the ball. im always changing my team up bit this guy is an end game CB he just out preforms every CB i use next to him. absolute must if you have the coins for him
