86 - Flashback SBC

Hello it's Gullit 2.0
By Hamstar66, 20-11-2020

Hey guys, i really can't understand, why people are asking to do him or not. Everyone is getting tons of untrades all the time and its really not too hard to invest 30k for a card like this.

I did Alex Sandro (RTTF) before and packed Lewandowski and Martial, so if you're lucky you can even do profit.

But now i want to talk about Khedira.

I had the red Paulinho before and he was really important for me. I replaced him with Khedira and my expentations weren't high. But sorry that card is a absolute OP card.

You can play him as a CM, CDM, CB and he is doing a perfect job everywhere.

Some guys say he feels glunky. In my opinion its not true. he isn't as fast as kant, yes, but he is as fast as paulinho in game. It is totally fine. Don't know why everyone wants a CDM or CB with 99 pace. The most important stats are DEF and PHY for this position. And thats where he shines.

He is tall, so he wins many headers.

He catches every ball and even when you don't control him the KI anticipates perfectly.

I play him as a CM next to valverde and he is a absolute gamechanger for me.

His passes are really good (dont see a difference to my baggio 91) and when you're looking at his stats he is just a bit weaker than mid gullit.

For me it is a card that i can play a long time to always got a very strong player at CM and safe a lot of money for this position.

I am a div1 2200 points, elite 3 player.

  • ultra strong defensive
  • wins every 1vs1 cause of his high PHY
  • amazing passes like having 90 short and long passes on his card.
  • not as slow and glunky as everyone says imo
  • strong link to RTTF Alex Sandro and CR7
  • complete player that can play many positions perfectly
  • for that card, very cheap
  • easily to solve the sbc with untradeables and get him nearly for free.

  • some of you say his stamina but it compares on your playstyle. with high pressure every player is getting tired. Don't have any problems at all.
  • maybe his skills but i don't need it at CM. I got other players that have to skill in the offensive area.

Broken at Center Back!!
By SantiagoMA12, 19-11-2020

When I saw this card, It looked really sick, but then I saw his stats and saw that 94 strenght and that amazing stats, I knew I had to do it... putting him as a Center Back, I’m sure that I’m not the only one that would do that because just look at that stats, yeah maybe it’s wasted a little bit some of his stats, but trust me at Center Back he is really good and bodies everyone. The price could look like if it was high, but it’s not, for me it’s completely worth, and could be cheaper if you have an untransferable player with good overall

As CB

Good Sprint speed with shadow

Amazing srenght and aggression

Really good defending, 99 interceptions

Good long shots

He rarely miss a pass

Height

As CB:

Jumping

2* skills but doesn’t matter as defender

Expensive, not overpriced.
By DilliamNye, 21-11-2020

When I saw this SBC go live, I was a little hesitant to complete him. I knew he looked like an absolutely insane card, but for someone who is not particularly rich in FUT terms compared to many of the people on this site, I was put off a little by his requirements - until I realised that he provides interesting links that no one else does between Serie A and Bundesliga. That is when I decided he was to join my club. I ended up completing him for around 30k, the rest being random untradeable fodder I had picked up over time.

As it turns out, this was an incredible decision on my part. Khedira is, without mincing my words, unbelievably good in this game. So good, in fact, that I don't think I could go back to someone like Sissoko or Allan without being alongside this god. For a little backstory, I play him as a left-sided defensive midfielder in-game in a 4231 formation with a SHADOW chemistry style applied to boost his pace and defending and he fills a niche I have been seeking for the entirety of FIFA 21 - a CDM who can pass, while also being extremely solid defensively.

I have used him in 8 games so far - four WL, and four rivals. He has been brilliant in all of them, especially considering that I have liquidated most of my coins waiting for the customary annual Black Friday market crash.

PACE: 8/10

Don't get it twisted, there are much faster-feeling CDMs out there (Sissoko and Kante being two) but, with a SHADOW applied, he is not slow by any stretch of the imagination. His 91 sprint speed means that, in theory, he can catch up to most CAMs and strikers if needs be. However, his measly 80 acceleration bottlenecks his potential speed. I doubt many people will have any particular issues with his speed overall though.

SHOOTING: 8/10

For a CDM, his shooting is a breath of fresh air compared to some (namely Sissoko and Rulebreakers André) that I have used. 2 goals in 8 games perhaps doesn't sound particularly impressive but I pretty much never shoot with my CDMs unless necessary, and Khedira is a great finisher for his position with 73 finishing and the all-important 88 shot power making him a threat. I'm not saying he's Robert Lewandowski or anything, but he will get the job done and more in this aspect.

PASSING: 10/10

There is no other way to say this - his passing is insane. 93 short passing and 90 long passing, combined with 87 vision, makes him a brilliant passer and his through balls are something to die for. So many times I get caught off guard by simply how good his passes are, and he sets up many good opportunities for my attackers to square it into the box, while also being good at finding space for himself, which brings us to the next point.

DRIBBLING: 7/10

His dribbling, while being above average for a CDM, is not as good as the 85 dribbling on his card may make you think, and here's why; his balance and agility. For a player who is 6'2", you have to have great balance and agility (as well as reactions) to feel responsive on this game. Too bad he doesn't. This lets him down from being a bonafide 10/10 player for me as he just lacks a little something that allows him to become an incredible attacking threat, as well as the amazing defender he already is. However, his other dribbling stats are really impressive, such as his 88 ball control, 88 reactions and 87 dribbling which help to partly make up for his faults in this area.

DEFENDING: 10/10

This man is a literal defensive god and I cannot stress how influential he can be in the middle of the park. With a SHADOW applied his 98 standing tackle means that no player is getting past him and his 96 sliding tackle means that he can crunch players and still get the ball like prime Idrissa Gana Gueye. The main thing is his orgasmic 99 interceptions though. He is unfathomably consistent with them, and basically gets the ball every single time it goes anywhere near him. I have never ever used a player in any FIFA who is as good at intercepting the ball as this Flashback Khedira card is.

PHYSICALITY: 8/10

He is a beast. Think FIFA 13 inform Akinfenwa, and that is the tier of strength you can expect from this card. 94 strength and 92 aggression make him a powerful force and, when combined with his insane dribbling and decent pace, means that he could be a god tier centre back too. However, I have two complaints - his jumping, and his stamina. Firstly, his 72 jumping is really quite poor, although his 6'2" height makes up for this somewhat. The big complaint is his 81 stamina, which means that he will be tired after 90 mins if playing at CDM and will never, ever last 120. This is dependent on playstyle, although with the pressing nature of this game's meta it is likely to happen to most people.

Now for the subjective ratings:

LINKS: 7/10

The sad reality is, Juventus lack any particularly meta hyperlinks unless you have a casual 2 million coins sitting to buy CR7 with. However, he provides nice orange links between Serie A cards (Nainggolan, Mertens, etc) and the Bundesliga with players like Gnabry, Goretzka, Sane, etc all being German. Overall while his links aren't exactly the most meta he does provide a lot of unique orange links that, for someone like me who loves building interesting hybrids and stuff, makes him a fun card to have.

VALUE FOR MONEY: 8/10

This is where the title comes from - he's expensive, but not overpriced. A lot of the Futbin community believe that if a card is expensive, it is automatically overpriced, disregarding any potential qualities it has. For 170k I believe this card is good value for those that will make the most out of him. Sure, he's not some super cheap SBC like Atal or Talisca, but he really is worth the coins for me and I believe that it is money well spent for anyone with aspirations of building/upgrading their team with Serie A players. However, there are cheaper options in the Serie A such as IF Vidal which would be better value for your coins.

And finally,

OVERALL: 9/10

This card is brilliant. He can be useful as a centre back or CDM with SHADOW, or as a box to box midfielder with something like a HUNTER to bring his shooting and pace up. He is a multi-talented jack-of-all-trades card which is going to be usable for many, many months to come. Is he pricey? Yes. Is he worth getting? Also yes. His main flaws are his jumping, his stamina and his agility (as well as his 2 star skill moves which I have not talked about previously) but these are all easily overcome.

  • Versatility (can play multiple positions well)
  • Strength
  • Defending
  • Interceptions
  • Passing
  • Decent shooting
  • Pace
  • Agility
  • 2 star skill moves
  • Low jumping
  • Relatively low stamina

Perfect CB and better than most CDMs
By eronsyla, 21-11-2020

Tried him on CDM and he felt like Sissoko with way better Defending and Pyhsicality. He just intercepted pass after pass despite his low acceleration. Then I tried him as a CB and he was even way better there. Ive never had such a good CB and will use him defenitly in my defence.

  • He interceps everything around him and its hard to get past him
  • He has high passing, defensive and physicality and he is high wich is important for a CDM/CM
  • Hes cheap and not hard to implement because of Serie A and his nationality
  • Hes easily one of the best CBs in FIFA 21
  • Hes not that fast and you shouldnt forget that
  • Hes a bit clunky but if you play with him a few games it wont be a big problem
  • He has low stamina so high pressure is a bit of a problem with him
