For me it was a great card, yes, Joe Gomez is faster and cheaper, but I want him to defend, not to be my LW. And his pace isn’t bad at all, 150k isn’t so expensive and you can use fodders, I got him for 50k. And his passes and dribbling is great for a CENTRE-BACK. Plus it really nice to have a defender with 4* wf and 3 skills, something that most defenders don’t have, something to consider too is that he has great agile and balance, more than Joe Gomez, so he was a bit faster than he should be. His Links are really good, some are: Joe Gomez, Cancelo, Ederson, and of course a perfect link with Walker. I know, he isn’t the bets defender but what did you expect with 150k? Something that helped a lot for him to be a beast were his reactions, really high which in my opinion makes him a lot better than Joe Gomez. Anyways you can use both but Stones is definitely better, I would even say he has better links. If you want, keep using Gomez as he is cheaper but if you have the money and want a great defender, do him.

First time writing a review so here goes nothing. I had Joe Gomez (like everyone else) in the back and paired him up with Varane. Did Stones for free with all the untradeables I have prepared for TOTY so I didn't sacrifice a lot for him and didn't sacrifice much fodder. Obviously, Gomez and Varane are very meta, but I needed a change of scenery in the back and Gomez can never win aerial battles for me. Stones solved my problems at the back and surprisingly played very well to the point that I sold Gomez. He's rock solid in the back paired up with Varane and I don't regret doing him. I'm a casual player and I'm not that good, but played 5 games of Rivals in Div 3 and won all of it conceding only 3 goals. Those 3 goals conceded were my fault with Varane coming up way too high with him. Stones played defensively well and actually won headers for me in all the games also picking up an assist. Will he replace your CBs? Probably not. Is he worth it? In some cases yes, but for most players, No. If Gomez is causing you problems or you a big city fan, go for him! Other than that, TOTY and Headliners Team 2 is around the corner, so save fodder and coins.

He is great in defending Great pace monster physicality also great passing. Just I can say ChEaP. you can find players better than him but not for this price.

Him and varane are in same level in defensing and he never stop to work in defense.

Increadible cb if you play prem you should do this one

Most of you guys have been saying this SBC is useless because of joe gomez. At first I thought pretty much the same but I am/was tired of using the same meta players over and over. So I decided to grab this card anyway.

I ran him alongside VVD (yeah I know kinda boring) to try and get my second elite finish.

Man I gotta tell you this guy completely overshadowed VVD, he won pretty much every challenge against the likes of CR7, Neymar, Mbappe.

His pace with a shadow is exactly what you need. His agility and balance is what sets him apart from other CBs, he changes direction so fast, his great def stats, 90 reactions and 85 aggression amount to a killer combo.
