Monster, Monster Card
By Ibo1115, 21-02-2021

This is a monster, monster card. He can play anywhere. On the wing, CB, Secondary CDM with a powerhouse, anywhere I say.

I personally played him as a RCM in a 4-3-1-2 after starting him on 10 in a 4-2-4. Basic is the objectively correct chem style for a CM.

Pace - Not the fastest because of gameplay and height, but the pace gets the job done at the end of the day. 3.8/5

Shooting - Decent shot, but nothing insane. A respectable 3.5/5

Passing - Immaculate passing. Second to none in the passing category. Beautiful chip through balls and short passes. Very good flair passes as well. We're looking at upwards of a 4.6/5

Dribbling - Not the most agile, but that's down to height again. Doesn't have heavy touches in tight areas and is able to hold on to the ball. 3* Skills sucks for skillers but as a CM and for me it doesn't matter in the slightest. 4.2/5

Defending - He's one of the best in the business when it comes to defending. Spectacular interceptions and defensive capabilities. Sublime standing and sliding tackles as well. 4.8/5

Physicality - Unrivaled strength with breathtaking stamina (nice contradiction - good stamina means it's not breathtaking, right? Well, in any case, good stamina). Prodigious aggression which allows for a sublime feeling of intensity. Jumping doesn't matter in the slightest. 4.9/5

Overall - Incredible card. He's at least above average in each category, no doubt. The position was not a problem in the slightest, as changing formations in game is something everyone does (if you don't change formations in game, give yourself a pat on the back). I don't really know why he's so cheap and is holding his price, but he'll only go down from this point on price wise. A dazzling 4.6/5 in total.

"Llorente 86 is a very good card" - Nelson Mandela.

"Probably the best card I've ever used" - Mother Teresa.

"And God said, 'Let there be Gullit Gang,' and there was Gullit Gang" - Book of Genesis, 1:3.

"If he was not a RM WWII would have ended much sooner" - Winston Churchill.

"Monster card with a Maestro" - Nepenthez on every player to ever exist.

"Dab on 'em; yeet" - Jesse Lingard.

The most versatile card!!!
By TomDeleG, 26-02-2021

This is one of those cards that as soon as the TOTW was released I bought it (at 238k hehe) and HOLY S**T he is so worth it. I needed a La Liga RM that can defend for my team and I am thankful that he came along. He can play anywhere in midfield, as a DM CM AM and out wide. I used him in two separate formations, as a CDM in a 4231 partnering the FT Cucurella and at RCM in a 41212(2). I can't decide which position is best for him as he was insane. His defending is amazing as he is able to break up a lot of play in the midfield. The pace is a bonus as well because he acts like an engine that will chase down everything. His Passing is great as well as through balls in behind the defence to Prime Owen seems like a specialty to himDribbling isn't the biggest thin on a a more defensive focused player, but it seems to be fine. His shooting is ok, not the best but not the worst as he did bag some goals, all being either a tap in or a 1-on-1. His workmates and height are an advantage as it allows him to be able to win headers (but knowing this game Kante will beat him in the air). In conclusion, use him instead of Kante ,if not you're a rat.

  • Pace
  • Defending
  • Passing
  • Great League and Nation links
  • Ability to play at every Midfield role and possibly at full back
  • 3* 3*
  • Bit expensive at the moment
  • Shooting (at times)
  • RM not useable in formations such as 4222, 4312, 4231, 41212(2)

The most VFM CDM
By Zozos, 24-02-2021

This guy is probably the best CDM i've used together with Curtis Jones. Actually these too pair up toghether perfectly as Jones is tall and even though he has got nice driblling, he cannot be agile because of his height. On the other hand, Marcos is perfect in this segment. His body type is the appropriate one for a player of his style. All around he is an exceptional card, while the only drawbacks for this card can be considered his stars and his shooting. Don't take me wrong, his shooting is preeety cool for a CDM, but he won't be able to score a banger. Nevertheless, the thing that makes this card outstand is his PRICE. 350k for this card is a joke. If he was a cm he would surely cost over 500 to 600k. So if you can fit him in your team don't hesitate.
