Gattuso the GOAT?

Like a lot of you guys, I packed him from the guaranteed icon midfielder pack, and thought I'd try him out. I play him in a 4-2-3-1 with Pirlo moments next to him, but would definitely recommend putting him on a stay back instruction, as you don't want him anywhere near the goal. I was surprised that I genuinely enjoyed this card, as he seems to be a rock defensively and isn't as bad on the ball as his stats suggest. While there are certainly better alternatives for the price at this stage in the game, I would recommend trying him out if you have packed him or simply just want to try out a new card.

Interceptions- this guy just seemed to intercept everything, despite being the smallest man on the pitch. It is probably due to the high aggression, but I just wanted to mention that he made 11 interceptions in one of the games he played for me.
Physical- while he is a really small player, the stocky body type makes him feel like a bulldog in game, as he puts in very strong tackles and can push almost anyone off the ball
Short passing- even though his passing stats may not look amazing, he is very good at doing the simple things by recycling the ball, but I wouldn't recommend trying anything too adventurous with him
Stamina- this guy lasts the whole game every time, don't even worry about him getting tired

Shooting- this shouldn't be a problem if you play him as an out-and-out CDM, but some of his shots can be very wayward from time to time
Dribbling- not the best player on the ball, but this is not a problem if you simply use him for quickly recycling the ball
Height- it seems to make him feel faster for some reason, but he doesn't have the long legs of other players and often struggles in aerial duels
