91 - FUT Birthday
4.5
Jamie Vardys having a Fut Birthday Party
By Martindrob101, 29-03-2021

I was lucky enough to pull Fut Birthday Vardy out of my 85x5 Pack

Pace-9/10

Feels very rapid when making runs and on the ball, has more than enough pace to get past most center backs.

Shooting-9/10

His base stat of 97 finishing along with 97 attack positioning makes Vardy such a deadly striker. Very rarely doesn't find the back of the net, and the boosted 5* WF makes his finishing even more OP. I would've given him a 10 in shooting, but his longshots aren't the best. Finesse shots outside the box are better than what his 69 base stat suggests though.

Passing- 7/10

This is where his gold card was a massive massive letdown. His passing on this card is decent though, I was using engine on him so his short pass went up to 80, and Vision and crossing both going up to 85 and 84. He can play through balls well enough, and can also play 1-2 passes well. The 5 Star weak foot helps here as well

Dribbling- 8/10

At first I was worried his agility and balance would be very noticeable, but he can dribble just find. No he's not going to be like Neymar on the ball, but I found he executed most skill moves with ease( Berba spins, heel to heels, croquettas) his 97 reactions and 94 composure helps him retain the ball well in the area and he can create space for himself.

Physical-8/10

His high aggression was very important to his game, he was constantly winning the ball back in key areas for easy goals. His strength isn't the best at 73, but it felt more like 78 or so in game. Stamina lasts the whole game, also jumping felt good. I scored two headers with him, and I never ever score headers.

Overall-9/10

I would definitely recommend this card if you have an Epl/English squad, but I would say wait a bit because he's bound to drop down to around 500-600 k in the next few days.

This is my first ever review on FUT Bin and I'm a FUT Founder. That should give you some idea of why I'm writing this review.

Vardy and I met in a beautiful twist of fate as I opened a 86+ x2 pack from one of EA's many coin sucking SBCs. I was pleasantly surprised to pull this card as I was expecting the usual butt cheeks that emerged from these sorts of packs. Straight away I knew I would be able to start this card in my team, which was an added bonus (I have left a link to the team that he features in)

He slotted in nicely next to mid Kenny, another 5 star weak foot goal machine with Rooney end of era, tucked just in behind in the CAM position.

I would love to say that this card is the perfect all round striker, however there are some drawbacks, let me start with the good. In the box, this guy is next level, as you would expect, both feet deliver hot rockets that just sail past Nick Pope as he looks on in sheer horror at what is unfolding before him. With the engine chem style his agility and dribbling are good enough to use left stick effectively, however he isn't going to feel like Neymar. His aggression more than makes up for the lack of strength as he is constantly winning the ball back high up the pitch for me. His pace as you would expect, is more than enough to beat most defenders in a foot race, coupled with the ability to change direction quickly and accelerate away, making space to shoot on either foot is really easy.

Now the one thing that does let this card down occasionally. For me I have two other attacking players who are far better at passing, so I will usually try to get Vardy on the end of the final pass and let my opponent guess which foot I'm going to leather the ball past his keeper with. It is the only minor drawback on an otherwise excellent striker, that being said. I do believe that you can get better value for coins elsewhere in the meta players like Mbappe and Neymar. BUT if you, like me are so very bored of coming up against these players, let alone using them. Give this guy a run out.

Thank you for coming to my review

Jamie Vardy's having a party!!!
By joshbell9688, 01-05-2021

I packed Jamie Vardy in a free ultimate pack for playing the game. At the time he was around 1 million although currently he is around 570k. This card is a perfect striker, he can finish nearly everything especially 1 on 1s, finesse goals from around the box and outside. His shooting is definitely not a problem, he is quick on the ball but sometimes can turn a little slow, if you are going to use him I would use him in a two striker formation with a quicker striker to partner him up, for example I use mbappe next to him, which allows vardy to be more of a finisher which he is best at on this game. I am a Gold 2 player, nothing special, for me vardy is very quick, and probably has a very good. The skill moves upgrade is massively important as it means he can do la croquetas which is the skill i seem to use the most. if there was one problem with vardy it would be the passing or turning. the engine chem style improves this however but you can still feel it. i love this card overall and would say for just short of 600k its worth the coins.
