Elite player here doing a quick review on Hermoso. I managed to get 25-4 with him in my team this wl so i'm pretty happy with that. I looked a long time a cb partner for Yuri Berchiche (btw what a baller also) and i think i finally found the one. Really good specially for his price, its hard to find a good cb with that kinda links for under 250k. Someone like Upamecano is also really good, but someone who is really pain to link with.

But quickly note on how he played. I used him with a shadow ofc as we all know the meta.. through ball, through ball, through ball... But he was really good at keeping up with lets say 95% of the strikers i faced. Only couple times in this wl he managed someone to actually outpace him and at both times it was against a toty Mbappe. Defending was really daamn solid. Defensively he was pretty much as good as Yuri, if not even better. He won most of the 50/50 balls, outbodied most people even though hes only 6'0 and he was really solid with the ball too.

Even after saying that i'm not gonna give you that "ohh hes a best cb in the game" no hes not. Hes one of the best at his price, but best he isn't. I've tried someone like prime Maldini and bro i don't wanna even talk about those auto blocks man. So no hes not the best cb in the game, but still hes really solid and someone i'm very sure you can be happy with till you can afford a better and more expensive cb. Me and a mate o' mine were talking about how we could improve our back line without spending too much. He was searching between the new FUT Birthday players and found the GEM that is Hermoso. We both bought him for approx 255K (ish) and boy oh boy. I had What If Smalling first, but he is just too expensive. I sold him and bought Hermoso and Berchiche. The back line I use is: What If Berchiche - Fut Bday Hermoso - Moments Puyol - What If Mbabu. I use a shadow on him, because everyone would do that. He loses the ball sometimes in a clumsy way, BUT 9/10 times he recovers it in a split second.

I recommend using him in either a 4 at the back formation or a 3 at the back, since he is very quick and turns like a good full back. (Turns better than 85 Theo Hernandez). If you're bold enough you might even use him as a CDM with an engine. I am a DIV 5 player since everyone uses the OP duo Mendy and Varane at the back and Mbappe at the front with Neymar, I won't get any further (for now). Hermoso will stop most players that are wobbling through your defense with skills and will use skills himself because of the 5* skills.

This card is really good. I used him in a 4-1-2-1-2 and he was solid. Pace was solid really liked his agility for a cb especially it was really good and his passing really surprised me. His tackles were decent not the best but still really good. His slide tackling ability is up there so,so solid . 6 foot height its a bit short at times I must admit but i dont feel as if it effects the card a lot. his high/medium workrates for me werent an issue either his positioning all in all was pretty solid. With the links this card has(hyper link with rule breaker llorente) i feel like 200k is a bargain for what your getting.

I packed him out of the party bag sbc and he's a very solid centre back and also has some good links, I would recommend picking him up!

Guys class. I’d say he’s just as good, if not better then rttf varane, and we all know how broken varane is. He hasn’t set a foot wrong for me. He’s got a very clean tackle, non of that bouncing back to the attacker bullshit. His ability on the ball is very good too, which is very important, helping you get out of a team press. The agility in the card is great, being able to turn instantly really is helpful. The only downside is I’d much rather has a 5*WF, 3*S. You don’t really need to have 5* skills for a cb, however, it is quite fun to be able to do elasticos with him.
