I've never done a review on a player, so I thought it was time to do it.

REVIEW:

I used him as an attacking CDM alongside FS Cucurella (my squad: https://www.futbin.com/21/squad-builder/view/7462728). With an engine, his dribbling stats are pretty good, so you can take advantage of the 5 stars on skill moves. Don't let his passing trick you. He might not be the best on the curve stat, but he only missed 2 of 32 passes on a single match, long and short passes. As a plus, I have Moussa Dembelé as the ST, so he can win for sure all the passes from Kondogbia, thanks to his physical. Due to his work rates, he is not the best defending, but he does not do a bad job. His long shots are amazing, all on target, but only a few finished in goals (1 out of 6, in one match). For a CM / CDM, his pace is fine (I like it to be around 83-86). On the corners, he puts very good centres, but I didn't try him on headers.

GENERAL OPINION:

He is a solid player, if you are looking for an offensive CDM / CM. I'm also looking foward to trying him with shadow as a CB, but i dón know if that would work well (maybe I make another review!)

I would say he is similar to a card from the same promo, that I also have on my club, and it is Thiago FB.

Should you do it? Definetly YES, but if you can link him and he fits in your team.

I've seen other reviews on this Kondogbia card, but I ask how many games have they even played to judge him?

To start off, this guy is clearly an Icon card ingame, I've never seen any Midfielder this year be as dominant as him.

I played him as left CM (balanced) in a 4-3-2-1 on Catalyst. In 24 games he managed to score 17 goals and 8 assists.

When he gets in front of the goal he is absolutely lethal, his Shot Power is next level. His Dribbling is crazy, he always keeps the ball thanks also to his Strength. You can use his 5* Skills very well.

Defensively he is a Destroyer, the type of guy you want as a complete CM.

Geoffrey Kondogbia was my favourtie player in FIFA 19. So I decided to complete this sbc straight away as he is a club legend for me and he was been fantasic so far!

I have used this card for a few games and he is a reliable CDM. His strength shoves midfielders off the ball and he can keep the ball and pick out a good pass after. Kondogbia's 99 strength makes him a bit slower when running with the ball. Also, he can shoot well and you can move him anywhere in the midfield.

Did Kondogbia because he looked very fun on card and he actually is. I have used him as a RCM with Vidal and Seedorf and he seems to be very confident playing with these two guys. He is also a kind of meme here in Italy.

By the way, what I liked the most was his dribbling: he is weirdly able to pull off some crazy stuff for a 6'2'' player. I also noticed that he has that kind of "sprint trait" which actually boosts his pace on offense.

Defense is good but he does not seem active like his stats would say: don't expect a Kanté-esque presence. I would suggest you to pair him with someone like Vidal, for example.

Overall he is enjoyable and kind of a unique player, but not a game changer. Wouldn't really use him in defense as he doesn't seem to have the reactions for that role. CDM or CM is fine, especially with 3 midfielders.
