Stay Away!

This is my first time writing a review, I created a Futbin account just for this. I have never been so compelled to write a review in my life. I bought Mendy for around 75k as he provided French and EPL links for my squad, he started at CB but played LB in-game at 7 chem. Let me be honest, I have never used such a rubbish card throughout my ultimate team from Tots Theo Hernandes to gold Luke Shaw, he is undoubtedly the worse. First of all, he has a low/high work rate which is still acceptable when the fullback has pace, even after shadow, Mendy feels and plays like a slug, his body type does not help. I've used Mendy in 5 matches and in total he probably has made less than 7 tackles, basically, he is never there when I need him and if he is, it just feels impossible to land a tackle. Having Mendy in my squad was like having 10 men, he provided nothing. Mendy's stamina is another weak point, at the 75th minute it is an obligation to sub him off, he is already slow enough at 100% fitness. However, his work rate could be remedied if you set him to stay back while attacking but with his price point, you'd expect a lot more from your LB.
