Lingardinhoooooo. I got this card in fut champs rewards the week he came out. Made some changes to the team and slotted him in as a CM on the left, just behind a TOTY De Bruyne. He's been absolutely class. I'm a division 1 player now and he definitely played a part in helping me get there. I reckon he would make a good CAM, but there’s no chance of him playing there instead of my De Bruyne, obviously. So CM is where he’s at. He’s decent once he gets in the box, I have scored a few with him there. But it’s when he’s on the edge of the box he’s absolutely deadly with a finesse shot. He manages to find the top right corner 9/10 times if in good space. Top bins.

I’m not the type of player that plays with many skills and the team isn’t built around pace. I rely more on my passing. So I do really notice Lingard on the ball, he turns quick and can get the ball forward well. Can accelerate through the midfield with ease.

He will be replaced eventually I believe. But tbh he’s been really fun to play with. I have higher rated players in my team that could replace him, but it’s really hard to take him out the team when he hits that finesse shot so easily. When you’re against a tough opponent that defends really well in the box and the closest you can get to goal is the edge of the box, he will honestly save you and bang one in from distance. I definitely think his stats would be higher if I played him CAM, but don't let them fool you. He'll get you out of a tough one.
