87 - TOTS
I was told to save my 84+ pp for TOTS, and so I did. I opened it, skipping, as I normally do, expecting nothing more than what I got; Koke, Gurrerio, Partey and WHAT? TOTS GOLDSON? PERFECT LINK TO TAV? I can say with full honesty, I've never had a CB as good into a tackle as this guy; maybe Boateng flashback last year but this guy is up there... one game in WL he went 9/13 for tackles... 9/13! Do you realize how mad that is? I'd defo recommending picking him up if you can, that link to Tav makes him even more deadly!

This is from playing 15 games of Division Rivals in Division 2. All I can truly say about this card is wow. I've never used Varane all year but since it is TOTS time and everyone is sweating I've decided to make the best team possible which includes him. However I wanted to fit my Headliners Tavernier into the team and what better way than trying this guy out. I am speechless. Goldson finds himself in the right positions 9/10 he always makes that last second adjustment to block shots, his agility and balance are a lie it feels so smooth when defending players the likes of Neymar and Mbappe and he can keep up in the case of a counter attack. This guy felt like Varane but better and that says a lot.
-Pace with Shadow makes him insane
-Passing for a CB is quite good (short and long passing)
-Physicals and Defending Stats are class
-The tackling animations he gets are just unfair (recovery so fast and effective)
-If you have Tavernier that link is wonderful
-Price in comparison to other meta CB or (LB RB at CB haha)
-Links due to being in the Scottish Premiership
-Agility and Balance (Still feels good)
-2* WF (his passing stats are good enough to where I don't notice)
-Work rates but M/M aren't bad to be fair, obviously you want M/H but he always is in position for me
-Stamina but at CB you don't notice many issues with that
Ok ill keep it a stack with you guys, he is a hidden gem.
he can pass, head the ball, defend, has strenght, is english, and can link with tav (sadly 2nd IF for me cos i didnt do his headliners)
if you can fit him in the team, go get him
- Passing
- Defending
- Acceleration and sprint speed
- strenght
- heading
- Composure good but could be better
- Good links
- Genuinely nothing
- i guess agility but it aint a problem
Made 10 Rivals and 10 WL Games with him, . he is so fast, he feels like on 99 pace.. i tried Fofana TOTS too, but Goldson feels much muc better! Great Value, still for 80-100k !

Scottish League, but if you got Tavernier (IF,SIF or HL) easy fix
I got Goldson from the community TOTS pack and was understandably disappointed to get a 60k player from a pack worth 100k. Still, I wasn’t too annoyed because I ended up with a really good player, despite what his value suggests. Putting him into my squad did interfere with the chemistry a bit, forcing my LB and RCB onto 7 and 8 chemistry respectively, Goldson himself having to play with a shadow on 7 chemistry, which isn’t ideal, but he’s still a top-class defender regardless. Currently, he’s paired with Showdown Kehrer, and it’s probably the best CB pairing I’ve used. Goldson is very fast, capable of catching up to the likes of Adama, Sarr, Mbappe, etc. His ability to catch up to everyone (Unless they’re a 99-pace winger brought on in the 70th minute, because at that point it’s just unfair) combined with 96 strength and the fact that he’s always in position, gives you a brilliant defender. I also found his passing and to be good, especially since he has the passing stats to consistently ping long balls over to the wingers. However, his weak foot is a problem at times, and he tends to misplace simple passes when using his left foot. He also feels a little clunky when turning, specifically against those 99 agility strikers, but when you take everything else into consideration, it’s a fantastic card for 60k. Plus, he perfect links to Tavernier (PLAY THE CLIP!)
