I completed this card the second i saw it out just because he fit my team, not even because he looked great. Now, he is my favorite full back ive used. He is so quick and is decently strong with an anchor. I play 3-4-1-2 and he goes CDM next to lo celso and he is magical. He plays like a better ngolo kante. The main problems ive had with him is I find him to be out of position sometimes which leaves me vulnerable, but since I have baby rio ferdiand and diego carlos HL , it's not that big of a deal. Overall fantastic card for its value.

Alright if I'm being totally honest I did this guy because i had literal abundances of fodder from upgrade packs and i didn't want to discard them.

But seriously do him right now he is the best right back in laliga, and before you say Dest future star, I've tried him, Trippier is so much better. W for correa owners like me :) and he is nice for English links like shaw or wan bissaka

So, the reason I did "his" SBC is, that i got frustrated of me packing shevshenko in the 92+ att/mid pack.

The fact i got frustrated is, that i packed shevshenko in FIFA 18,19, 20 and now 21 - and (except this year) he always was bad.

First, I used trippier at right back - to get some alternation from my always used - and (for me) inconsistent de sciglio.

And oh my god was trippier bad at right back. i played him with stay back + conservative interceptions- yet he still wasnt able to stay at his position. when i played him at RB i saw him cover the middle - (behind the CB ????) much more than at the position i needed him.

it led to me getting annoyed of him and therefore searching for an alternative.

"to his luck" i filled one of my CDM-positions with vazquez (which was really really good there).

the fact that i always saw trippier in the middle made me think of him playing more central - so i swapped him with vazquez. (vazquez RB, trippier CDM)

after that change he played like a total different player. - he won ball after ball - literally sweeped the midfield, played unbelievable short & long passes. he basically felt and played / plays like an 'even faster kanté'.

the "problem" of his disposition stayed the same. alot of times i can find him in the "more offensive" midfield - but that doesnt mean that he's also attacking- he is "only cleaning up more forward on the pitch"

but being honest - i really really enjoy his disposition at this stage. it fits my defensive style alot. he stops many, many through balls by being much closer to the attacking midfield (or defense) and with that takes alot of pace out of the attacking opponent.

That being said - and me being a bit late with the review (since the SBC already expired) i can still say, that im really happy that i got him. i can recommend him alot for a CDM / CM player. ( not a RB, tho lol)

because of his height, i guess, he is everything other than meta - he is (for me) unplayable at RB - but an absolute unit in the middle and really fun to play.

I wanted to try out a new RB so I decided to do this SBC?.I have been impressed with him so far. He can tackle wingers and keep up with them but sometimes he can be outmuscled by the strong wingers. He is great for attacking his passing is solid and can put a good cross in. Only downside is his height he couldn't win a header in the box and that would lead to conceding a goal but as long as he sticks to his position he will be fine.
