I was a bit dissapointed when I got him in my Serie A guaranteed but still decieded to give him a try and he surprised me.

Pace:

He is no Mbappe or something but he definetly isn't slow, the 95 acceleration are definetly noticeable, however, it doesn't feel quite like 95.

Dribbling:

I had some concerns about him feeling clunky because of the average body type and the agility+balance but he doesn't. With the engine chem style applied he feels quite responsive and moves good with the ball. He is no Neymar by any means but his dribbling is quite good.

Shooting:

His shooting is good. His finishing inside the box is very decent and you can hit some beautiful long shots beacause of the finesse shot trait and the 96 shot power + 97 long shots.

His movement of the ball is also decent because of his att. positioning and the high att. work rate.

The only real downside is his weak foot, so make sure to have the ball on his right when shooting.

Pasing:

His passing is good nothing special though.

Defending:

His defending is alright, as he wins quite a lot of balls from tackles. However, he will be out of position many times in defense due to his high low work rates and his def. awareness. Therefor, I would advise you playing him as an attacking center mid in a 41212(2) for examle and not as a cdm.

Physicality:

His strenght is decent, he doesn't get pushed of the ball easily.

Stamina is great, he can run the whole game without getting tired.

Whats up, I got another review (Check out Haaland, Yilmaz and *new* Caicedo review) and this De Paul looks sick. I was lucky enough to get him in my first ever 81 x25 pack. I sadly play him on 8 chem (*sad noises from me*) but he is amazing. His pace and shot are perfect, long shots, wow. Always in a good Attacking Positions and gets there so quickly. Passing and Dribbling are neat. The fact that my wingers have no ability for crossing, he simply goes on to the wing and gets crosses into the box. Did you know that the only player in my starting XI who has more crossing than De Paul (93) is TOTS Valetin Rosier (98)? His ability getting back and intercepting opponents is class. Steals the ball from Anyone and makes a counter attack.

Who do you think I should do next? Frezze Martinez (87) or Storyline Tyler Adams (87)?

Okay, so i dont know why everyone here is complaining about his defending ability, but i’ve had the most fun with him as a CAM to my serie A squad link. Trust me, his pace, and passing range is sublime and more than enough as a secondary ST or CAM. His long shots and finesse shots are a *chef’s kiss*. However if you find him sturdy or bulky in game, make sure you slap an Engine chemistry on him. Also make sure you have two very good CDMs while playing him as CAM, as he will almost never come out to help in defence.

I have mixed feelings about this card, after i got him as an untradeable I decided to give him a go. First he played as right attacking midfielder in a 4222 formation but as an attacking midfielder he was quite useless. When he got a free shooting opportunity he would score but that was about it for the impact he made on my attacking play. He just did not have what was necessary to succeed here. Later on I played him left central midfielder in 41212(2), this worked better for me and for him.

I can't really point out what is good about this card cause nothing immediately stands out but I will try my best. For a central midfielder he is really quick which is always nice to have on Fifa. His shooting is average, meaning that he will score good opportunities even with his weaker left foot but nothing crazy. His passing should be really good with an engine chem style but I didn't notice this especially. The dribbling of this card is quite nice tho, he feels quick and is able to create enough space for himself to not lose the ball. His stamina is great as well since he can go all game with no problems. This is also because he has low defensive workrates and doesn't try to help out in defence at all. His defending is decent but as I just said, he is never present in the back so he can't really use it.

To conclude, it is a decent box to box player since he is quick and his passing is good enough to reach the right players but defensively he is slacking because of his workrates. Don't expect crazy things from this card because he won't deliver but just keep it simple and he is useable midfielder when linked up with the right players.
