Another day has come to review a card which should be reviewed. I was always looking for a perfect link for my CR7 TOTY and finally I can say there is a perfect solution in the defending spots.

For me Cuadrado is playing RB in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-1-2-1-2. But sometimes I will switch him ingame to the RAM position or RW.

I'm a DIV1, Gold 1 player. So let's get in the review.

PACE 10/10

He delivers what you expect of him. Lightning fast, very good acceleration! No more words needed.

SHOOTING 8/10

His shooting is not that bad at all. Of course he does not have many opportunities in game to hit the goal, but I noticed that he has a pretty good longshot combined with more than enough power to hit the back of the net. Nothing to complain about, unless you play him RM or RB. If you want to play him as ST or Mid-CAM you will have better opportunites to use for sure (e.g. Lozano TOTS).

PASSING 9/10

Very accurate passing combined with pretty nice crosses. He is not on the level as e.g. Kimmich TOTY, but it's definetly high class for a RB. Furthermore I noticed his extremly good through balls.

DRIBBLING 10/10

5* skills, bodytype and his dribbling stats are making him an absolute beast when it comes to dribbling. I can't think of any player who dribbles like him in Fifa 21. It's a bit like Neymar and Mbappe combined. Very good, fast turns and close ball control.

DEFENDING 9/10

Pretty good in my opinion. Since Cuadrado is not the strongest defensive player in FIFA, I was suprised how many times he managed to stop my opponents. He is very good to defend players like Neymar or else with much pace and dribbling due to his great agility and good defensive positioning.

PHYSICAL 8/10

The other category which surprised me the most. Because of his very good balance he ist pretty good in 1on1 situations. Pushed opponents of the ball many times. But when it comes to physical strong players like Lukaku,Lewandowski or Kane he did sometimes struggle to stop them.

VERDICT 9.5/10

Normally he would be a 9/10 for me, but with his price beeing pretty low in my opinion and the perfect link to CR7 he is a 9.5 for me. If he would be a bit stronger in the defensive parts he would hit the perfect 10/10.

But all in all I have to say, If you are looking for a very solid and good RB or RM don't hesitate. He is a bargain for the price he's currently going for (160k).

I got him in my reds last thursday and therefor decided to try him out.

I mostly played him as an attackin RB in the 41212(2) or as RM in the 352.

Pace:

His acceleration and sprint speed combined with 99 agility make him feel rapid.

Dribbling:

His dribbling is great, he feels so responsive and moves very smooth with the ball which makes him super fun to use. The 5 star skills are just the cherry on top.

Shooting:

When you use him as a attacking fullback or as a RM in a three at the back formation you will obviously want him to get himself into a few decent shooting positions and with 88 att. positioning he will. However, when it comes to finishing these chances, the 72 finishing are definetly a big issue you will have to work around.

Defending:

He isn't the best defensive wise but he does the job, his height and body type benefits him as he wins some balls where he somehow tackles around the defender.

However he sometimes is a bit out of position as he pushes foward very aggresively so I would definetly recommend using him as a attacking orientated fullback/right mid.

Passing:

His passing is good, nothing special but definetly does the job.

Physicality:

He gets pushed off the ball pretty easy, however, an Anchor or Marksman will compensate for this. His heading is decent, he wins many arial duels due to his jumping.

This guy is unreal, especially for his price. Its a joke. He is the best card I've used in the game and I have icon moments Ronaldinhio. I play him lcm in a 4312 and he scores every finesse shot he takes, no mater where its from.
