Welcome to another review ! I hope all are doing well during these tough Covid days

(Used as CM next to TOTS CR7, PIM Essien, TOTS Nkunku in a 4-3-2-1 formation. 30 games | 4 goals | 8 assists)

I believe this card is one of those hidden gem's that you need to actually try and test to get the "feel" for the card. However, I will try my best to describe my experience so far. Barella is very versatile, literally he runs back and forth the pitch tackling the ball opponent's balls as CDM and occasionally attacking as a CAM. He most of the time doesn't overcommit to attacking as much as his commitment to defensive support, but when he does, oh boy does he get in position well. His dribbling on the ball is great, he feels smoother than many midfielders I enjoy using (PIM Essien, Nkunku TOTS, Thomas Muller TOTS, De Bruyne TOTS) and feels on par with TOTS Kimmich. His short passing is great, I don't think it could have been any better for a free card. Long passes can sometimes be intercepted easily due to the lack of high curve stats though.

All in all, Barella is great card for value that will replace TOTS Muller for me (I think the Raumdeuter is one of the greatest midfielders to grace the pitch) but Fifa's mechanics dictates otherwise..
