I Can't be the only one who thought of using him as a CB right!

So for me it was between him and baby Petit. I tried Petitt first and wanted to give Puyol a go too!

The following review is based on 20+ games played in div 2 and 1

he starts as a RB with a shadow with 10 chem , but in game i switch him with Ferland Mendy who i play with 7 chem as a cb.

Pace 8/10 : He just doesn't feel 86 pace with shadow to me! still pretty quick tho! he definitely feels like 80 pace

passing 5/10 : he misplaced a few , nothing too bad tho, hes just not a great passer, keep it simple with him

Dribbling N/A : agility and balance in no was had a bad effect on him, jockey speed and direction change was on pint with him! Reactions tho was a huge Pro! i didn't get that with Petit! those crazy AI blocks and reaction interceptions! Crazy good!

Defending 9/10 : With shadow its pretty much maxed out. everything in this department felt Elite with him! Amazing tackling animations and lovely positioning and awareness.

Physical 10/10 : he just has a invisible bubble around him , like Van Dijk , opponent walks anywhere near hem he just paralyses them you know. no one is winning a shoulder to shoulder battle with him.

Overall, Is he worth it? Yes he is

Is he Better that Petit as a CB? YES, so much better

Is he Going to Stop R9 and Eusebio? No , you gotta realize you get what you pay for! at this stage i had no problems to stop Cr7 , Neymar , Mane , Rashford type of players and that for me is HUGE! But you need to understand hes not a Elite META player. If Diego Carlos got like 3-4 informs , this is how he is gonna feel like! still No Maldini!

This man is one of the best CBs I have used this year. He may not be as fast as TOTW Walker, or Joe Gomez, but his extraordinary defensive positioning and crunching tackles make up for it. When I first pulled this beast of a man, I thought it was terrible, till I actually looked a little harder at the stats. One specific icon I noticed he was very similar to was baby Vidic. I would say most of the community would have considered Vidic a W, especially since it was the first icon SBC released, and most people would also consider Puyol a massive L. However, the stats of these cards are extremely similar, and I would argue Puyol might have a slight edge over him. I would recommend playing him alongside a pacey cb with maybe less defending like the new Adama card or Walker

-Normally he will be played on 6 chem if you start him at CB
