I did the mid or prime icon pp, sadly he was my best pick. I still tried him and all i can say is, that he will score goals. But you wont have to much fun with him. His Pace is good, but nothing special. His shooting is great, as is his positioning. Passing is just meh, he is not good at build up play. He can feel clunky, engine is highly recommended to make him smoother on the ball. In terms of physical, he is good, but nothing special, he gets tired around the 75th minute. He can battle for the ball. His headers are accurate, but he wont win every header.

So, in conclusion:

Will he score you goals? YES

Is he meta? NO

Is he fun to use? Maybe, depends on your playing style.

Well, first things first: You probably got him in the Prime Icon Pack and you're looking to see if he is actually good.

I have to say, I was definitely not expecting him to be this good.

-Shooting? Scores every goal.

-Passing? Better than expected I guess. Had only 2 assists, but they were pretty nice.

-Dribbling? Does not feel good. One of my only complaints with this card. He turns like a truck most of the time and can barely keep the ball at his feet. Slap an Engine on him and he doesn't feel that bad I guess?

-Stamina? Not good, but didn't really notice it.

In my opinion, he's a pretty good card.

Conclusion: Nice and fun card to use, especially if you packed him. The 400k price tag seems really high (I'd put him at 300k).

Shooting. If this card gets in the box, it's automatically a goal.

Finesse Shots.

Pace.

Free-Kicks if that's your thing. Jesus Christ, he feels like Roberto Carlos.

Passing. Looks bad on paper, pretty good when you use him.

Shevchenko is a beast in front of goal

I have been looking for a striker icon who can score most if not all shots and also play make a little bit. I tried players like mid Hugo Sanchez, prime Larsson, mid Sukar but none of these seem to tick the box for me in the shooting or passing but then I tried Shevchenko. He is one of the players I wished I got to watch live especially at the San Siro so I thought I would give him a go. I did notice his passing was ok for a striker but I was still looking for more I have found he is a good passer but I haven't got many assist with him. I only have 1 in 8 div 1 games but his shooting is on another level, in 8 games he has scored 26 goals on both feet and with his head.

Shooting is his best aspect - absolutely lethal most goals in off woodwork or postage stamp

This card was brought with a hunter and he feels a lot faster then his stats suggest because his agility and balance are average

Runs - he makes brilliant runs all the time

He also seems to drift past players with ease too which is great

Passing but that is also a personal thing I like strikers with great passing

3* skills is a bit of a downside

Stamina is 77 but I actually haven't noticed this weirdly

Really OP

I bought 91 Shevchenko today as I needed an Icon striker to complete my team. He is absolutely amazing.

Pace: I used him with a HUNTER chem and he was rapid.

Shooting; Oh my lord. He can shoot from anywhere and score. He's the best shooter I've ever used in FIFA 20 AND 21 - I've used Nominee CR7, HL Lewa, Mid R9 (Draft), PIM Inzaghi, PIM Crespo, RB Mbappe and 2POTM Bruno.

Dribbling: Not a fan of his dribbling. He's sometimes clunky and loses the ball.

Passing: Meh. He gets the job done but nothing that special.

Defending: N/A

Physical: His stamina is definitely a con, and H/H workrates doesn't help at all as I find him coming too deep for my liking despite putting him on Stay Forward. His strength is great and I find him winning lots of battles.
