Incredible.
Interceptions and Strength are the standout attributes but do not sleep on his overall improvements in other departments this year. At present (07/10/2020) he is hovering at 30K. I would advise making it a priority getting him into your team.
If pace is an issue for you with CDM, work your tactics to stay get him to stay back and cover middle. A shadow card makes this card more than useable and makes him a brick wall in front of my defence.
Biggest surprise card of this FIFA, give him a go! (Playing Div 3 in Online Seasons)

Ok Guys, listen to me. i have never written a review on any player, EVER! But this beast, he made me do it. what a player in midfield, he cancels like 80% of the opponents attacks and with this kind physicality, try and push him. i use him as my first CDM (never ever engages or contributes in attacks) alongside sissoko who can join the attack occasionally, and guys trust me , with shadow and staying behind , no attacker will get past him.
Phisicality, defence, sometimes incredible through balls, long shots kind of good
pace ( but just apply shadow to compensate a little and you wont notice)
Sprint speed is fine, over longer distances he feels more like a mid 70 to low 80 even without a shadow chem style on. Where he really suffers is in acceleration and his inability to close down players.
I generally keep my CDM back in a 4-1-2-1-2, while the CAM is more of a B2B. This requires the CDM to cover a ton of ground and I tend to play aggressively / try and get a tackle in before the break can really start. The problem with Casemiro is that he's never going to get close to the player on the ball. Any attacker is going to easily walk around him or make a quick pass in the time it takes him to get close enough for his physicals and defensive stats to matter.
I really wanted to like this card, but he is just not good enough compared to cheaper options at CDM like Llorente. Additionally, I found his stamina to be misleading. He was my first sub in every game I played in, and really struggled to make it past 60 mins.
Cherry on top is, I found his passing to be pretty poor in game as well (granted, passing took a major hit with the latest patch for all players).
- Immense strength - if he can get a tackle in, he's winning the ball. Especially with how little refs call this year, you can get away with really taking out players.
- Defense is solid, especially with the right chem
- Pace is obviously his main lacking trait
- Passing is not the best, especially since most people will want to throw a shadow on him instead of a powerhouse
- Stamina does not play like a 90 - always the first sub around the 60th minute.
i haveI took casemiro in my team because it made links with all my players I tested it with cataliser and it is INCREDIBLE you cannot dribble it it is incredible physically and defensively its speed does not even bother it so much it is strong
