I tried him for the last 10 games of my Fut Champion and i can say he is really solid right now and it's a lot less clunky than Skriniar.
- Aereal Threat ( even better than Drogba )
- Overpowered bodytype ( he's rocksolid and agile at the same time )
- CPU is OP.
- Good passing for a CB ( in serie A all defs have 0 passing )
- Could be faster ( i didn't had problem but someone want fullbacks as CBs )
Solid strong defender, comparable with van Dijk, pace wise little faster with the acceleration and slower on top speed. (Both used with shadow chem. style).
He can keep up easily with players like Werner, Dembele and Chiesa and destroys players physically.
He's stats and use in game is very good IG, but he get a guaranteed upgrade cause Juventus will go through to the knock-outstages in the CL.
SBC- cost about 80kl, but i also made 20k back, was maybe a bit lucky with a IF-discard pack. but on average it will cost 65k coins to complete the SBC. A big W if you asks me especially when he gonna get hes upgrade(s).
- Decent (Short)passing.
- Good pace
- OP interceptions both CPU and manually interceptions are very solid
- On corner hes an aerial threat.
- You have to adjust your style to not dribble, but instead pass
- Pace, if got an + 4-5 upgrade it will be S-tier CB.
Hi there, welcome to my review of Matthijs de Ligt.
I have been searching for a good and not expensive cb for a while now. I didnt want to spent 100+K for a central back so i was very happy that this sbc came online. I am dutch so he was a fun choice. He was a bit difficult to link because i wanted to keep a part of my team the same as i had it. Since i have a Bundesliga defense and a Laliga midfield and attack, it was hard to find some links. Right now i bought cuadrado and locatelli OTW to link him. (not the best)
So why should you do his scb?
he's playing at a club that plays decent enaugh to get the upgrades. Because of this I think the 85/90k price isnt much. He isnt the fastest like Klosterman or IF Gvardiol but his defensive positioning is very good. Defensive and physical is almost perfect. Passing could be better but if you want just a defender for the defense, he's your guy. At the moment he's a bit hard to link (for me at least) but i think it will become easier in the near future. A tall defender with his own body type (wich i think only helps him in fifa) and a good cb is what you get for the 90k. and he might even get upgraded.

He's 189cm tall and besides that quite strong.

His defensive positioning/awareness is amazing. His sliding/standing tackles never dissapoint me and hes a great header + Trait: Power header

Very strong and great at jumping

Love these two statts. really helps while defending.

Not the best pace in fifa 22 but its enaugh to keep up. i dont think his pace is a con. besides, after two upgrades his pace might be near 80
Not a lot of cons.

Doesnt matter, Why are you shooting with a central back?!
-Passing
Isnt very good at passing. better pass the ball to another player right next to him.
