Packed this guy in my end of season rewards and immediately fitted him into my team and by far the best card i used this fifa. His passing and dribbling are top notch. Interceptions to counter attacks are immense and saved my team multiple times.
I have used a lot of midfielders, from mid Seedorf to SS De Bruyne and none of them play the box to box role quite as well as Modric. His passing is pin point accurate, he's super smooth on the ball and very rarely gets dispossessed. Defensively, his interceptions are top tier due to the 91 rating, alongside his insane agility and balance, on top of his lean body type which allows him to transition seamlessly between running and intercepting. At less than 700k, this card is a steal and makes me regret not having enough in the bank to pick him up when his price crashed under 500k. He is the best non icon midfielder I've used and is 100% endgame
Insane agility and balance, surprisingly strong in tackles. Also a nice surprise to be able to score a goal a game with him as his shooting stats aren't indicative of great goal scoring abilities. I use 1 cdm on the free roam instruction, and Modric got into great positions to be able to score some very tidy goals, with the help of the outside the foot shot trait!
Price? I think he's a good price for what he offers but if you're on a budget, perhaps the WW Aouar is a better option as he does offer a bit more versatility, at the cost of defensive stats. Overall, I can't recommend this Modric enough
