This guy is a wall in the defense. He has perfect workrates, a very unique movement ingame, is fast and tall. Got 18 wins and 2000 points in elite division this week and a big reason why is the beast besides Niakhate in my defense.
Before going into this I previously was using marquinos and kimpembe (who in my opinion at the time were so difficult to replace). I was apprehensive at first thinking how could this new centre back partnership of Koulidaddy and Cordoba ever compete or compare with EA's finest children from PSG. I am a elite div player usually averaging 14-18 wins in futchamps depending how angry I get. Lets begin with my overall opinion, Koulidaddy does live up to the hype. He truly is a broken card, gigantic spider legs seamlessly wrap around players making it next to impossible to turn him. His pace is a huge bonus for me, partnered with a small agile rat (cordoba) makes for a lethal partnership, he wins every header, out muscles anyone (if someones dumb enough to use a ST who isnt 99 pace) and he has this sort of super power when you jocky... He seems to like hover and cover so much ground left and right i can't describe it, but it just feels like im cheating.
Pros:
Pace 94 with a shadow, doesn't get outpaced, his legs are like giants too which makes him feel even faster as he usually takes 2 strides and he's caught them
Defending: I don't need to discuss this, 98 with a shadow, he intercepts, does weird animations that just magnet everything to him, i just feel like EA give some players hidden stats/boosters in game and he has all of them for defending.
Physical: he's built like mount everest. feels like bullying, seeing poor mflape get RKO'd constantly made my futchamps quite funny. Overall heading is insane, strength insane, and stamina I didn't notice until starting this review was low but again, after using him now for 87 games i still haven't noticed it. Corners are actually where you see his physical shine, he scored so many headers on corners it felt like cheating, forget the corner glitch to the edge of the box, buy him for 200k and do a normal corner and he'll score.
PRICE: He's literally so cheap for arguably the best CB in the game. the fact he's 200k with 94 pace and 98 defending and 89 physical feels criminal. IDK how he isn't like 400k He's easily the best CB i have used and will continue to until a better card comes out. He's like, if the road runner and the mountain from game of thrones gave birth to an evil rapid muscular monster who was strangely amazing at football. If you have 200k dont hesitate to buy him.
Cons:
Passing: depending on your playstyle, his passing isn't bad but don't expect him to consistently distribute the ball to your wide players. His short passing seemed fine, unnoticeable. But long passing on the occasion if I wanted to distribute it out wide from my box to messi near the half way line then sometimes it wouldn't be as clean as i wanted. But again, you can't expect a CB to do everything.
A few days ago I decided to watch the AFCON final and I got really impressed by Koulibaly's performance; he was everywhere on the pitch and played and lead his teammates with exemplary composure ! Having watched the game I decided to buy Koulibaly's headliner card and see how he feels in game, I already had Next Generation Theo in my club and TOTYHM Edou Mendy was my starting keeper at the time so linking him wasn't an issue but I was a bit concerned about his dribbling and passing stats, regardless I was so hyped up from the AFCON final that I decided to buy him and try him anyway.
I am really impressed by this card, his passing and dribbling feels much better than the stats suggest and the only reasons that I can think of are either fake stats, his unique body type or both. as his partner I have TOTYHM Rudiger (top defender btw) and Koulibaly's transition feels just as smooth as Rudiger's; he feels super fast, moves around the pitch with ease and and thanks to his high defensive and physical stats + top tier tackling animations he makes defending easy and fun for you !
Overall along side Rudiger he's the best defender that I've had this year and since he's link-ability is decent (easy enough to get him to 8 chem) I fully recommend him if you're looking for a reliable CB.
I already mentioned that I use him along side Rudiger and I have to admit that I can't decide which one has the better card, one thing for sure they are both among the very best CBs in the game !

Having now used this man for 560 games I feel I finally need to tell the world about him. After getting him out of the 85+ pack some months back, I was buzzed. His pace and size is enough to stop most if not any over the top through ball attempted, like kimpembe. His Pace split although less desirable than a defender with high acceleration, isn't noticeable. He has some sort of aura around him that makes the attackers slow down enough for him to get a clean tackle every time. His base passing stat at 59 hides his half decent 70 short and long passing meaning distribution isn't really a problem. The 91 composure and 92 reactions allow him to shut down attacks with ease. One thing that may deter you from using this card is his low balance, but this fifa it doesn't particularly matter for centre backs and his other stats really make it unnoticeable. GET THIS CARD(if he links).
What a beast!! I honestly thought he was very slow but very good defensively..I was right about the defense part but not about the agility/pace because he is actually very fast(never got outpaced using him).It’s a bold statement but I’m going to say he’s one of the best cb’s in the game because he has everything except for passing, but you can make it work.
This guy is amazing! He is by far the best CB I´ve ever got and I used good CB like Cordoba, Rúben Vezo, Djalo and Saliba.His positioning is amazing and even if he hadn´t a good defensive positioning he would still reach the other player because of his fantastic pace. He´s also very good in duels and he wins almost all of them. And if you need a good player to score goals in corners he is your guy (3 goals in 10 games). If you have the coins I highly recomend you to buy it.
I was lucky enough to get this guy out of the 85+ pack, and based on the online nickname "Kouli-daddy" I was psyched to use him. However from the first game it was clear that this man is overpriced as hell and really not all he's cracked up to be. While he does have some of the best defending ability in the game, this is where the niceties stop. Main problem with him is his agility + balance. I'm not usually too concerned with these stats, but jesus this man is clunky. Turning takes 5-7 business days and his passing is appalling. Whenever he has the ball there's a 50/50 chance he'll just give it away. Further, his running style means his head is down, making him seemingly weaker and slower. Forwards with 90+ pace and some strength can effortlessly fly by him. Another niche criticism is his heading accuracy. This guy can not get his head over the ball from a corner, and as such all of his headers fly over the bar. In conclusion, this card is more frustrating than what it's worth so I'd recommend staying well clear of this human fridge.

So I have used this legend of a player in prev fifas and had hopes he would be as good as prev season, only to be left completly disappointed (as is usual by EA), this man is a legend in real life. But on fifa he can barely do the trash. I recommand not buying this disgrace of a card and I pray for your soul that you have done the "de ligt" sbc.
