Player Review
89 - NUMBERSUP
Buddies,
Let's talk about Insigne NumbersUp! (if you like the review, give me support and your opinion on my IG please: scandola_FUT)
This card is recoverable by completing an SBC worth around 95k. Because of its physical peculiarities, Insigne is an interesting card every year but suffer of lacks from a bit of everything to be a top player. So, I made this SBC to know the true value of this new card of the Transalpine Gnome. He wears Adidas type X shoes giving him a mega boost in speed (+4) but also all these stats have been increased (+1 shot, +1 pass, +1 dribble, +1 defense, +1 physical and +36 in total). I tested the card in Rivals (division 2) for 5 games and placed as left CAM in a 4-2-2. Thus, he scored 3 goals and addressed 4 assists.
His strengths are, first of all, his dribbling skills with an overall rating of 91. During the gameplay, we immediately feel his small corpulence coupled with his great agility, superb balance and ball control. He is a real eel and defenders never get hold of and it is especially noticeable in the first few minutes of play when he is full of energy. Secondly, he has an indecent long shot ability although with his 79 in range can seem to be a weak point. Obviously, this is not a good ST, but these characteristics / traits of finesse shot and outside foot shot foot make him a true sniper. Finally, his passing skill and acceleration make him the perfect winger who will provide attackers with real offers. With these 90 in short passing and 94 in acceleration, he ignites the opposing defense and very rarely misses a pass in the box and this is a real advantage.
Regarding his weaknesses, his physicality is similar to that of my 7-year-old little bro with an overall statistic of 46. His endurance (76) is acceptable, but his strength (35) and his aggression (35) are unacceptable and are clearly felt during the game. If a defender manages to come into contact, at 100% he will lose his duel. This is really an ultra-disadvantage although his dribbling ability allows that contact can often be avoided. Finally, his nationality and his championship make it difficult to build a competitive team around him.
In conclusion, the Insigne NumbersUp’s card is not worth the 100k to invest, and I regret that I did it. Certainly, it will make the difference on the pitch and can be used for certain challenges (Icon Swaps) but for the price paid and the packs obtained it is absolutely not worth it. In case he is your favorite player, or you want to have a slightly exotic card, I can understand that you do it but if otherwise you should not falling into the EA trap because without a doubt best cards will come out for a lower price and much better on the field.
