Underrated Lad

TRENT ALEXANDER ARNOLD! Amazing player in real life, very nice in FIFA. Got him in a party bag in the beginning of January if I remember correctly, and since I'm a big Liverpool fan I put him in the starting XI on the RB position although I had concerns about his pace. However he's been dominant there ever since the first game and even now in February he's still super usable. The best part about him is that he is even better at a CM or CDM in a formation with 3 defenders.

First, his pace in game feels a lot better than the stats say. He almost never loses long runs to guys like Vinicius or Neymar, and with his nice physicality and defending you will rarely concede after of his mistakes. His tackling is amazing, his long legs gives him advantage in duels with the opponents. Now you won't even feel his pace issues if you play him in midfield, so he's probably even better there. But I used him mostly as a fullback and let me mention his amazing attacking potential. The guy got a high attacking work rate, so he will join every time you try to put the ball in the opponent's net. His passing is just incredible, he can do any kind of pass - cross, short pass, long pass... and will create chances for your forwards without you even intending to pass there. Trust me, it will shock you. Yes his forward runs will sometimes create holes in the back, but if you've got fast enough CBs and CDM, this won't be a problem.

He got his problems with agility and dribbling overall. So he needs that open space to shine and show his potential. Also he's not the best option for fighting in the aerial duels, but that's a common weakness among fullbacks. Also He sometimes lacks in the starting speed, and will lose the first steps to some quick opponents, but he often will get closer later and with a sliding tackle clear the ball.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with him. Don't feel the need to swap to his rulebreakers card since I don't see his pace as weakness for now, and his passing is his biggest advantage. If you are a Liverpool fan he is a must-get for you. I know there are better options out there but for his price he's more than perfect.

I really wanted to try Trent with pace so i decited to buy his Rulebraker Card. I played many diffrent rightbacks like Hakimi, Walker etc. but this card is amazing. He is fast like Hakimi and Strong as Walker.
