Being an avid Liverpool supporter, I felt that I would be doing an injustice to Liverpool fans everywhere if I did not complete this card. It's Divock Origi for crying out loud, I just had to do him!
Whilst I originally only completed him just for the sake of it, I decided that I may as well had to try him out in division rivals. Being in Elite, I was only predicting him to last a few games before I eventually had to swap him back out with my 91 Torres, thinking that he just wouldn't cut it. Safe to say, I was proven wrong!
After scoring a hat-trick on his debut I started to get a funny feeling about this card, but instead chalked it up to being a bit lucky and a not so great opposition. 10 games later, he has managed to bench Torres and single handedly won me games in the Elite division.
He seems to be one of those players that gets so much 'jam'. He always manages to keep possession, even in situations where he shouldn't keep the ball, it is as if he glitches the opposition defender and retains it.
His pace is also out of this world. He is lighting quick on the off and can turn with ease. In a front three consisting of 88 Vini and 92 Salah, he is the one who seemed to be the quickest and sharpest for me. His shooting is also phenomenal. He was scoring goals from angles I didn't even know were possible. In addition to this, his 4* weakfoot did not seem like 4* at all. I used to have Numbers Up Jota in my team and he had a phenomenal 5* weakfoot, yet, it seems as if Origi's is just as good. His shot power is also insane, many times I would let it rip from 20 yards out and it would thunder into the back of the net.
Furthermore, his heading accuracy seems to be better than any player I have used this game. In the 11 games I played with him today, of the 25 goals he scored for me, 4 of these were headers with 3 coming from corners. What makes this crazy is that I probably scored more headers today than I have in the past 3 months of FIFA.
Finally, his strength is also really good and is what makes it seem like the ball is glued to his feet, he can hold off and push defenders away with ease and once he starts barring down on goal there is no stopping him.
Overall, an incredible card at such a cheap price point as well. On top of this, if Liverpool manage to win the Carabao cup on the weekend then he is only going to get better, which is a scary thought in of itself.
A player who I played with almost as a joke has turned into one of my favorite forwards. A surprise to be sure but a welcome one.
Probably not good in goal.
