Far Exceeded My Expectations

So after finishing WL with 11 wins during Ligue 1 TOTS, my player picks were again underwhelming but I picked Fofana coz his price was quite was like 180k on PS4 for a 92 rated card. I read reviews of his older cards and people compared him to Vieira. I have never played with Vieira but still made room for him in my team and he plays with chem 8 in a 3-5-2 formation as a box to box CDM.

I slapped an Engine on him coz I like my midfielders to have better agility+balance to help in direction change and provide a telling pass. Well he is a constant menace in midfield both offensively but esp. defensively. His work rates allow him to be present throughout the pitch while his stamina means he can last for almost 80 mins and may be even 90 mins if you have more possession. He is physically so imposing that even if he touches his opponents, most of them lose their balance and give away the ball. His passing with Engine is quite elite and can easily deliver long balls to switch wings when you are being put under pressure. He can also go on those marauding runs from midfield creating space when opponent is marking all of your players. His defensive AI is quite brilliant. As long as you dont stray him far off he will always be close to opponent and can put in a leg.

His shooting is okay given he wont get many chances but his composure is good enough to bury even some what difficult chances.

FOFANA IS GOOD

Some would say the price is too high, but if you have played Rivals or Champs and have some untradeable fodder then its worth it. If you compare him and baby Gullit they are basically the same. Maybe Fofana is better. He is very good even with 7 chem. Very recommended.

Seko the Freako Fofana- The Irish Vieira

I was lucky enough to pack him untradeable out of a league SBC pack right after he was released. I've played 8 games with him and he's scored twice and assisted 4 times from the central midfield position in the 4-3-1-2 formation. Honestly, he is incredible and completely worth the price tag.
