86 Sow on steroids

Hello guys. Today you will get my perspective on 95 Shapeshifters Matthijs de Ligt.

The 18th of December we got an 86 rated Winter Wildcards Djibril Sow and with 220 games for my club he has been the best player I've ever used in any FIFA game. Everyone who used Sow know how good he was. However this de Ligt feels like a bigger Djibril who is faster and overall on steroids. Matthijs is fast, can pass the ball, dribble it past one or two player, has 4*4*, HIGH/HIGH work rates, great physicality, fantastic defending and the ability to shoot. After 91 games I can clearly tell that he is the more dominant CDM compared to Fernandinho(97 games).

Pace (9/10):

He is very fast as a CM/CDM however he is not this fast as for example a wingback. And remember that he is no Spinazzola.

Shooting (9/10):

When you are in a scoring chance with de Ligt he will finish the attack with his 99 SHOT POWER and 97 LONG SHOTS. However he is a little bit inconsistent with 80 FINISHING however he is no ST and he is originally a CB.

Passing (10/10):

His passing is on point and he makes the passes everyone else also can do. Him having 99 SHORT PASSING and 97 LONG PASSING doesn't make him worse.

Dribbling (9/10):

His dribbling is good and because of his pace and strength he can sprint past players and 4* skills helps a little bit. Maxed out reactions, 96 BALL CONTROL and 90 DRIBBLING. I thought that 85 AGILITY and 90 BALANCE would be bad and result in him being a truck. According to me there isn't a problem with his agility and balance and he isn't a truck.

Defending (10/10):

The thing that is special with this card is that he is able to rob the opponent of the ball even if he isn't close. Perfection.

Physicality (10/10):

de Ligt's strength is one of the best I've ever experienced and is a clear 10/10. His aggression is also good, jumping is also very good and the stamina is enough.

Would recommend using a SHADOW or an ENGINE. I chose SHADOW.

Solid defender

Solid strong defender, comparable with van Dijk, pace wise little faster with the acceleration and slower on top speed.
