Rodrygo or the 'Other Brazilian winger from Real Madrid' is without a doubt one of the best attackers in La Liga, im playing him as a complete forward to play balls to Rashford and oh my word! Hes so good at passing, one of the best in the game from what ive used. He feels smooth on the ball, ive had some issues with his long shots but he still scored a screamer. Really good at passing aswell im not sure what it is its just so good. Been a standout player, cant wait for him to go to an 86 or even an 87 hes going to be a baller! Good investment aswell.

I used him at right striker in 41212(2), stay forward and stay central, All games played in div 1, fut champs finals and elite division, Also full chem.

He is lethal up top, finishing is really consistent with this card. Very smooth silky dribbling, stock in game + height makes him very agile.

Passing was pretty good, nothing special though.

Pace was great and his attacking AI was great, always making really piercing runs, easy to send through balls to him.

Not strong but doesn't get bullied. Finishing with weak foot was also very consistent.

I'd recommend him up top, really nice card.

Hello all out there!

This is my first review, but I felt like doing it, because even though the stats might not be one of an outstanding player (in terms of goals/ assists) this player does make his presence felt on the pitch.

I bought him around Black Friday with the intention of selling him when his price would go up. After a few days, his rating was up, so I decided to try him a bit in some games. First 3 games were not showing an outstanding player, but I kept him in. Then, he just blew my mind in some games and it remained in the team although I could've made around 80 k profit.

I am not dribbler kind of player so I am not to good with skills and dribbling, but with this player, I was able to do it even better than with Vini Jr (POTM). Finishing was also good with both feet and that pace... man it is outrageous. He never left the team again, and overall I am very pleased with his performance.

Nowadays, at the price that he is selling at, I would really recommend him.

I play him in a 3-4-3 squad with an Artist chem style

After I finished my weekend league, I decided to cash out on my main team, and build a team around the various untradable cards I had in my club: (Varane, Alaba, Dembele, Fekir, Politano, Llorente), when building a team around my untradables I was looking for a solid defensive CM/CDM, LB, RB & ST. And then I figured well rttf cards aren't in packs, and Rodrygo is en route to get upgraded to 86/87, so (A.) his price shouldn't crash as hard as other players and (B.) He is likely gonna rise following some upgrades, so I thought good investment, and a safe card to place coins into, and then he just seems like a meta striker, and my god he is.

In my first Div 1 game he scores a hattrick, in my second game he scores another hattrick. His finishing is so clean, especially when you are shooting from just outside or inside the box. To put into perspective I have used Baby Icon Nedved, Mid Raul, Baby Suker, Mid Figo, Rttf Reus, whom have all been solid for me especially Nedved, but Rodrygo trumps them all imo, yes he may not have that icon finishing boost that you feel when using Icons, but man does his speed and left stick dribbling make him so much more enjoyable to use.

On a closing note I feel he works best in a 2 striker formation, as he will have someone to do 1-2 passes with and then run in behind, he didn't really work for me in 4-2-3-1 as the main striker in the one game I tried with him there. So yeah if you are going to use him, use him alongside striker partner that is a good finisher, in my case it was rttf fekir.

Before you downvote please here me out first. There are definitely positives to this card but Rodrygo is unfortunately the most underwhelming card ive used this fifa. I packed him untradeable and thought to wait till the upgrade before making this review and have come to the conclusion that he just isnt worth 300k. Vinicius is twice the card and his 85 and 83 are cheaper. Also used neres and antony who were both amazing for me and would recommend over Rodrygo. This is what i thought about the card so u can decide whether hes worth it for yourself
