Harry the HurriKane
By Youngblackbeard, 22-01-2022

Harry the HurriKane is back! And Harry really is a wizard in front of the goal. In 13 games (Weekend league and Elite Div Rivals) he scored 21 goals and assisted 6 more.

Important before you read: He will not be completely meta, if you're looking for a card which can finish right, cross and center with all of it's body you're looking at it. But there are 3 main points, that need to be adressed: the acceleration, the skill moves and the stamina. This guy is from another planet, but due to the high/high workrates, he will automatically be drained after 70-80' (if the opponent is still in the game by this point).

And now for the real review: I was looking for a new striker and neither Icardi nor Pato really convinced me to complete their SBCs. TOTY starts and there he is. Harry the HurriKane. In past Fifa's I always liked a combo of a big lethal striker and a small, speedy one next to him. I don't expect to pull any TOTY since the pack weight at this time of the year is always a scam lol (shoutout to all the creators who spent 300-500k FP yesterday without pulling anything really). During the lightning rounds, high rated players can be sniped quite easy, so the SBC probably cost me around 150-200k (+ untrades from the club). Fair price for my striker until June.

After the servers were a bit stable again =) I decided to jump into champs. And boi, the wizard performed. The first three oponents all quit in the first 20' after the HurriKane put at least 2 goals behind their net. At 5-0 the obligatory Fifa Community moment happened, where my opponent decided against giving the win but putting the ball next to his own goal and rage quit for his hopefully dreadful rewards =) (much love to you guys who respect the golden goal in icon swaps, gift wins if you don't need them and know how to press r1+l1 to celebrate a goal!)

Harry can finish everything, as he should since he's a wizard. If you manage to master time finish, you will have so much fun to put goals in the net from basically everywhere.

The real hard games in champs are yet to come, but cards like this make the game really fun for me.

Thanks for reading, hope you all pack the TOTY you want without spending any money on it!

Mr. Ragequit

Kane is the complete 9 - pacey, strong, clinical, amazing passer, tall, the hold up play GOD. I went 15-5 with him, and like five of those were ragequits after Kane put the hattrick on people by halftime. I am in D1 also.

People complaining about his price are wrong. When you compare Kane to other PRIME ICON STRIKERS, he matches up completely. Compare him to TOTS Lewa and you'll be shocked how close Kane is stat wise. If you know how to play with a traditional, hold-up play striker, there isn't a better one in the game than Kane. Kane's defining moment came for me this past WL when he completely dominated a backline of Prime Maldini and Capita, who are probably the two best CBs in the game pre TOTS cards.

IF you play to his strengths, seriously wtf does 4*skill matter for a big target man?, then coin for coin there really isn't a better striker than him. If you can do him for half price (~250k), then 100% go for it.

You MUST choose the correct chem style. I tried hawk, engine, and basic. For me, basic ended up being his best chem style because of the added ball control, strength, and passing. Engine is good too, but I like that basic maxes his strength out. Hawk is useless because his base finishing is so high that I couldn't tell you the difference. Play him on basic - trust.

  • complete forward, use him to his strengths and no one is better at hold up play.
  • C L I N I C A L
  • 5* WF
  • shot power is absurd. I f'ed up a few sitters because I was so used to blasting the shot button. Even a tap of the shoot button launches a rocket.
  • passing is next to perfect for a striker. Don't be stupid and play him at CAM though.
  • rat skillers who magically became PSG fans over the summer need not apply.

Harry Kane - Finisher Supreme
By ravens17d, 24-01-2022

I used Harry Kane as a LST in a 442 and set his run instruction to "Mixed Attack". I found this to be an absolutely stellar decision as I felt as though he was playing exactly like how Harry Kane plays in real life. HK can fit a ton of different roles for any FUT22 team. His physicality makes him a great target man, his speed and agility allow him to make plays behind the CB's, and his passing makes him an exceptional false nine/hold up player. Mixed attack gave me a slice of all three and it worked wonders for me in Rivals. Overall I just ask if you are trying to decide if you want to spend the fodder to do this card, think about how he would fit in your team. I really think you would be doing yourself a disservice if you completed him just to try and fit him in a role he is not built for.

-One of the best finishers I've used this year. 5* WF helps a ton especially when he takes unique runs into the box where you have to use the left foot to close it out.

-Passing is exceptional. He does an excellent job sparking wide attacks for my team and really provides value when assuming more of a False Nine role.

-His hold up play is awesome. Strength and Balance definitely make him a bit of a wall.

-One of the most balanced attacker card I've used this year. Not many cards will play better at a CF role than him!

-Heading is accurate, but because of his limited jumping I had a hard time really making an impact on corners. If you switch his chemistry it might make him even more dangerous as a crossing threat, but with Engine it just wasn't quite good enough.

-Pace, Agility, and Body Type(DEPENDING ON THE USER). He has excellent pace and agility stats, but I didn't feel as though it really translated to the game well because his body type(unique) makes him large and stocky. He definitely feels better than the gold card, but not as much as I was hoping.

-Stamina is a bit lacking, even though he typically made it the full 90 minutes.

-No Finesse Shot trait is a travesty, and would probably have made him an end game ST.

-For most 3* SM would be a deal breaker but similar to my point on his pace, it really comes down to how you use him.

If you rely on skills and dribbling to win games, do not listen to this review.

For starters, I am a massive Spurs fan and was very excited when I heard about this card being released. So obviously it was a no-brainer for me to complete him and boy am I happy with him. I wasn't expecting much out of this card. I thought he was just going to be another striker that is not usable despite some of his cracked stats. I gave him a try in the weekend league and he impressed me right away. I started by using him alone up top in the 4231 and he was very good. Then, I started using him in the 442 next to Ginola, and this card went to a whole new level. His shooting is near perfect. Some of his animations when striking the ball are not like anybody else that I have used personally. Now, I am not a skill move or left stick dribbling abuser so I had no problem with the 3* skills and lack of agility, balance, and acceleration. Because of the low acceleration, you may struggle to get past defenders like Kimpembe, but if you are able to get Kane into some space he will find the back of the net with no trouble. I suggest that you try to use him in a 2 striker formation next to a faster and more agile player. One player I can compare this card to is Jonathan David. Although I have only used David's 84 inform, I had a lot of success with him. I have used Harry Kane in only Division 2+ in rivals and in Fut Champs. At the moment, he has 112 goals and 14 assists in 67 games. You might look at those stats and think it's a complete joke, but that is the level that this Harry Kane card can perform at. The price may seem a bit expensive, but I don't regret spending 1 coin on this man and would've spent more after using him. If you are thinking about completing this card and do not rely on skill moves, you will have so much success with this card. I highly recommend you complete him.

I don't really like using stars or 1-10 ratings so I am going to share my grades in letter form (A-F).

I may sound a bit biased because I love Harry Kane in real life, but I can't stress enough how good this card really is.

His shots are brilliant: His shooting animations are so unique. Unlike anybody else's shot.

Strength: He is able to hold off defenders and get past them using his big in-game frame.

Consistency: He has been so consistent for me, scoring hat-trick after hat-trick every game.

Attacking Runs: His runs in the attack are superb and he puts himself in such good scoring chances.

Passing: His high passing attributes are very valuable in the build up play to start chances.

Sprint Speed: When in behind, he is very fast and hard to catch up to.

Long Shots: His long shots were surprisingly very good, scoring many goals from there.

Composure: Didn't feel like he missed many 1v1s because of his high composure.

5* Weak Foot: I probably scored just as many goals on his left than I did with the right.

Heading: Wins a lot of headers against the top defenders.

Aggression: He was very aggressive and was able to win the ball in my opponents' half.

Acceleration: Can find it hard to get past defenders off the jump.

Balance: Can sometimes feel clunky.

3* Skill Moves: Can be a problem if you rely on skill moves.

As a massive Spurs fan this SBC was almost a must do and I don't regret it at all. First of all his shooting is insane. He barely misses a shot. His dribbling, whilst not as good as the rest of this card is still okay and I have not had any problems with dribbling. The skill moves haven't been a problem for me as I don't do many skill moves but I understand that this is a very important part for many people. I have always been a person who has liked large strikers along with a faster striking partner and this is still the fact with Kane. He is the best player I have ever used and if you have the opportunity to I strongly recommend you do this SBC.
