As the title suggests, he is an absolute beast. Club is in the mud right now but having him has been insane. Only played a few games with him in Elite division and he has been insane. Everything that was lacking with base Varane (which wasn't much) has been pushed to the max. His acceleration and pace combined with Beast strength and defending allows him to catch up to flippin Vinicius and smack the ball off him, his auto blocks and last man slide tackles are amazing as well. Started conceding a lot less goals thanks to this fella. Oh, and his passing is solid, strong and precise, big upgrade. Highly recommend you do him. I ain't gonna get a TOTY, but he sure is as good as one.

Flashback Raphael Varane doesn't need any exaggerated introduction. Unless you've been under a rock since Fifa 22 was released in October 2021, you will have noticed that Varane's Gold card has been in most top Fifa player's team, and for good reason. He has all you need for a top CB. He's fast, strong and great at defending. I cant think of any recent fifa release where Varane hasn't been a top class CB for any team.

To give you an idea of whether you should complete Flashback Varane, I will try and explain in the best way possible. I did this card straight away, as I wanted to steel up by defence. I have just qualified for Elite in divisions and play FUT champs every weekend. Using Varane in this FUT champs weekend, he's been nothing short of magnificent. Of course, he is quick, he is tight to the attacker, he makes auto blocks, he's solid, he wins the ball in the air, he gets on the end of corner crosses. I was weighing up whether to use a Shadow or Anchor, and I honestly think both would be fine, but I went for Shadow in the end to make his defensive stats top notch and this player is an end game without a doubt.

You know, that you're gonna need some serious coins or fodder to get this card. He's expensive, but so a Ferrari's and for good reason, they are awesome! If you really can't afford this card, and you would have to sell the better players of your team to get him, maybe its not worthwhile. If you can afford him, or just about stretch to it, and you fancy him, he 100 percent will not let you down. Its a completely risk free SBC you know what you're getting with this card, no messing. Whilst Varane's gold card is still good enough to be in your team at any level, and will do the business, this flashback is an obvious massive upgrade. I guess the question whether to do him lies with your budget. Having the gold card is like when your a child, and the ice cream van is coming and you want that 99 with a flake, you ask your mum please and she tells you to get a choc ice out of the freezer. Gold Varane is the choc ice, its still nice to have, but your friends look at it and think "ah its just a choc ice". If you got that 99 with the flake, you know you got the banging quality that leaves your mates drooling.

Using Varane in this weekend league, playing a tough opponent, he attempts the over power chipped through ball. I am running back towards the ball with Varane and my opponent has Harry Kane. I expected the usually thing to happen, Kane bullies the defender out of the way and gets through on goal for a scoring opportunity. Varane was having none of it. He went shoulder to shoulder with Kane, plucks the ball out of the sky with his foot casually, and turns away. Kane went off to buy a hotdog!

Varane is amazing, easily the best CB i've used so far this year, which includes the usual suspects. Prime Rio, Van Dijk, Upgraded Sule, Marquinos and of course Kimpembe.

As a united fan I knew I had to do this sbc no matter the cost, I have been saving up some fodder so I ended up not spending too much on this card. My expectations were high for this card due to the price but he exceeded them in every way. His defensive AI is unbelievable, he is always in the right position even if you dive into a tackle he transitions back into his CB way too quickly it honestly makes no sense, his passing is unreal and his body type allows him to body ANYONE off the ball, he wins every header and in corners he wins it almost every time. I played 10 elite games with Varane with a shadow around 2000 SR and most people had trouble he is an absolute FORCE, only issue I had with him is his dribbling on the ball but who in their right mind is going to be doing ball rolls and trying to dribble past opponents with this card nonetheless he is an absolute game changer, yes I know the price is expensive why not just buy Ruben Dias? I have used both players, both are unreal but not to be biased as a united fan Varane is just more OP. Just his animations alone make him better as well as his body type. This is the first time I have ever written a review just to share my love for the card and to encourage those who are unsure of doing this card to send it! because trust me you won't regret it.

I ground my entire club for this card. And I will say that the map is full of shit. Any false swing (or other feint) causes him to lose his position.And sometimes without a feint (I attach a video from the last match). I used it in conjunction with Upamecano. And all my missed goals come from his side.
