I played 8 games with this card as a cdm, cm and cam and managed 4 goals and 4 assists all in the elite division. I would recommend you use a shadow/hunter chem style on him depending on where you're playing the card.

When it comes down to pace, with the shadow/hunter chem style I'd give him an 8.8/10. He does take a bit long to reach top speed but due to his physical presence, once he hits it(after a while) its difficult to get him off the ball. If in the CAM position he can run in behind unless you're playing CBs with > 90 pace but lets be honest you're not getting him to run in behind.

The shooting is one of the best shooting I've used on any card all fifa. A 9.8/10. Left foot, right foot, volley, long shot - they will all fly into the top corner(or hit the post unfortuneatly :( The only problem i have with his shooting is that for some reason he does miss one-on-ones here and there but I'm hinestly not too sure why, he should be scoring them.

HE HAS THE BEST PASSING IN THE GAME!!! A 9.9/10!!! It can't be 10 because even he can't have 100% passing accuracy every game but omg this guy's passing is genuinely another level, perhaps of toty KDB.

For dribbling I'm going to give him a 9.4/10. Despite his body type and 81 agility and balance, he can dribble pretty well and drive through players in midfield. Don't expect him to feel like Messi and wriggle through tight spaces, he can't. But he definitely can hold his own and easily turn players around the box and even create some space for a shot in the box.

The defending on this card is actually really good. I used a hunter(so no defensive boost) but he comes out of almost every single tackle with the ball very well. I'd give him an 8.5 / 10.

For the last stat, the physical, I'm going to give him a 9 / 10. He does feel very strong on the ball and can easily hold off most players in midfield(maybe bar Gullit only actually). He can last the full 90 as well so stamina isn't a problem.

I used a hunter on this card at CAM to try him out in advanced situations as much as possible, but I would definitely reccomend you use him at CM/CDM with a shadow or a hunter chem style. In my opinion he's completely worth the 10 swap tokens from icon swaps, and if you are just going to buy him , you could honestly just buy him and get back good value for money at 700k. Definitely worth the 10 swap tokens I will say again because this is the main reason why people would be reading this I assume haha

I dont do too many reviews, so it takes a special player to make me do one. (I am elite division with 1950)

As a lifelong Liverpool fan, I was always going to take Gerrard from swaps, even if the bigger icon packs seemed tempting. I was not disappointed, comparing him to his fifa 21 moments, he feels like a new icon, much better dribbling and feels a lot quicker around the pitch (he is no Vinicius mind). He can do it all, I would highly recommend taking him from swaps.
