iLoveMemphis Depay Review
By erbengerts, 29-03-2022

When this card came out, I just knew I had to have him in my team, as he is one of my favorite players (and rapper of course). I sold my Mbappe, Gelson Martins, and Caqueret in order to be able to afford him, but he was so worth it. In-game I use him as either CAM in 4231 or right striker in 3142 (my favorite formation at the moment, shoutout Inception). I think I prefer him as a striker, even though you can use him in both positions. As for the chemistry style, I obviously gave him an engine to boost agility and balance while also giving him a nice pace boost.

Enough context, lets get to the actual review: Memphis Depay RTTF is an amazing card. He's quick, good at dribbling, finishing, and passing, and his unique body type + physical stats make it hard for defenders to take the ball from him. Another plus is obviously his potential to get upgraded, and I think that if Barca win the Europa League he goes up to a 96. His most noticeable flaw is without a doubt his 3 star weak foot, which, in the words of Gattuso, is "sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit". Some games you barely notice it, but other times it loses you the game (you got lucky Pique Blinders FC). Only positive about his WF is that it makes him more affordable.

In conclusion, this card is a really great card, and has potential to get even better. His only con is his weak foot. If you have the coins, I would buy him, especially if you have faith in Barcelona making it far.
