Goal and Assist machine

Knowing that TOTS Benzema will likely be 1.5 mil+, POTM Benzema was a must for me since I wouldn't be able to afford the TOTS without selling all of my team (Most my players are SBC :( )

Not really understanding the hype earlier in the game when I used his 91 IF and thought it was total trash, I was skeptical but gave this card a shot, and this card is a different breed to his others.

After trying on Hunter, Engine and Catalyst, I finally settled on Catalyst- it makes him unstoppable- he's a goal and assist machine.

Pace

A big issue on his previous cards, this one is rapid. I found on engine he was a tad slow so I'd definitely use him on Catalyst or Hunter depending on where you use him; on Catalyst he is rapid

Shooting

Personally don't believe this needs a boost at all. His shot power feels 99 and his finesse shots are just a different gravy. Always in the right position at the right time. I use him as a left-sided CAM, and he poaches so many goals from loose balls or rebounds- a lethal threat in the box

Passing

If using as a CAM like I do, i'd definitely recommend boosting this as although it's not bad, it isn't brilliant either. On Catalyst he gets insane passing- short, long, crosses or through balls he hits them all perfectly.

Dribbling

Dribbling is probably his most surprising stat for me- on previous cards I found he dribbled like Lukaku- he turned like a bus with no wheels. On this one however, his dribbling is great. Although not silky-smooth like Bernardo Silva or someone, he's got the agility and reactions to out dribble most defenders now. It takes some getting used to due to his height and body-type but once you're used to him, the dribbling is top-tier

Physicality

One thing that he's always had in abundance is his physicality- and this card is no exception. Has the strength to hold off most opponents and his jumping and heading are fantastic- he scores a lot of headers in the box. Only downside here is his 86 stamina, which means I often have to sub him off at about 75 minutes. If you have a super-sub though, this isn't an issue at all.

Defending

Obviously the least important stat for an attacker, but his defending is actually not too bad. Due to his strength and heading he wins most aerial balls and will win the odd tackle here and there.

Overall

Overall I'd definitely recommend if you aren't going to have the coins for his TOTS which will inevitably be insanely expensive. Fast, lethal Shooting, Great range of passing and quality dribbling make him a real threat upfront. He's also very versatile; I personally use him as a left-sided CAM to make use of his passing and finesse shots, but he would also make a brilliant target man striker or possibly even a winger. For 110k, he's one of the biggest bargains this year.
