First of all he came from the mid or prime. I literally cried and thought about my life decisions and because i didnt had any other player left and i love to have fun i slapped him in with a hunter and went on to the wl qualifiers. He actually suprised me. He played fairly well and got himself some goals but his main strength is the feeling which you get by playing him. You are actually having fun with fifa and when he scores you are actually happy

Okay i dont know what happened, but it all started with me getting this guy in my mid icon pack.

Initially is was super bummed out. Filipo Inzaghi's MID was not what i had hoped to get from my mid icon pack, but i got over the dissapointment and thought "well, i might aswell try to use him to see how shit he really is". Let me just say, i was suprised with the outcome.

Keep in mind, about 5 or so of these games was me trying him in new teams and new formations to figure out how to play this monster. The first game, he came in and delivered a hat-trick off the bat. I know that with every other review you read, the word 'clinical' is used - but i have to say that i have never experienced anything like this guys shooting. It hardly matters how long you hold down the button, 'Pipo' will somehow always get it just out of the reach of the keeper and in to the bakc of the net.

I was running him as the right striker in a 3-5-2 besides Dybala as the other ST - which after trying him in different teams and tactics is the perfect way to play him IMO. With medium/low workrates, this guy is not likely to cause much of anything to happen off the ball - except for when you are attacking. The runs this guy makes are absolutely incredible, and running him in a team with good passers in all offensive positions is the perfect combination. I had him on 'get in behind' and the hunter chemstyle with Dybala on the default tactics, which makes his attacking positioning go up to 96 - which you really feel.

He is an excellent poacher, and always seems to anticipate the ball perfectly. His finishing is obviously S-tier aswell. With the hunter he has 99 finishing, 91 shot power and 99 volley. His composure is at 81, but i just had a game where Van Dijk was molesting him just as he was about to shoot, and yet he still got the goal - composure feels like 99. I would say he converts 99% of the shots he takes.

Obviously though, there are som drawbacks. His pace is not great - but with hunter plus his outstanding positioning this is not an issue.

His dribbling and passing are probably the worst things about this card. His left stick dribbling is quite poor tbh, and sometimes he makes a pass that makes you question the decisions that lead you to this point in your life.

If you got this guy in an icon pack - try him! The trick to playing this guy, is to have a team around him filled with pace, passing and tekkers - make the others build up the play and then trust Inzaghi to be there for when the ball needs to be put in the net. He is a sly, classical poacher that when used right becomes absolutely deadly.
