origi is a contrevansional player in fifa. first he has 5 skill and 4 weak foot. second he is 6`2.
5 star skill
very tall
91 pace
86 shooting
lengthy
78 passing
stamina
thats it
I will try to keep this review short as he expires in 2 days as I am writing. I used him alongside World Cup Stories Giroud in a 442(2) and all I can say is every game was a goal fest. I used an Engine on this Origi card to boost his balance and he was unstoppable. I feel that is shooting is already fine as it is and now every shot finds the back of the net. 6'2" and 99 heading is the perfect recipe for goals. He wins every header and scores every header. His 5* skills also works wonders. I feel that he can dribble past any card in the game. An added bonus is also a potential +2 or +1 upgrade, which I believe would make this card incredible.
- Shooting
- 6'2" and 99 heading
- 5*4*
- Good work rates for a ST
- Good dribbling with an Engine
- Potential upgrade
- Good value, only 1 squad
- Acceleration (can be boosted)
- Pretty low balance
Still unsure if it's worth making a review on a cheap card when TOTY is on Friday, but even so, most people will want to be saving fodder where possible and that's all the sbc is tbh.
Most people will want to know, is he worth it, can he play as a starter but mainly, will Milan win? For any of my Serie A lovers, Milan have struggled following the restart after the world cup and in my opinion, they were not great v Lecce. Comparing their form to Inter, they are just doing enough to seal results. They were solid v Napoli (league leaders) but looked like they struggled against Verona (won 2 all season I believe). I would say I can see Inter winning, however the Derby della Madonnina always provides and Milan are not 2nd this season by fluke. Either way, he's 40k and I know you're all not that broke.
Enough punditry, more about Origi. Played 10 games in the second half of Div 1 with a hunter in 4231 with get in behind, where he has scored 8 and assisted 6 at the moment. Currently, I do not have a bad word to say about him and I love him. I'm not a Liverpool fan however, for his well known contributions to winning the UCL in 2019, it would be shameful if you fans did not complete him. I'll try to be brief on his pros/cons and remember all stats are preference to players but this is what I've found.
Pace- Next gen players have the option of controlled or lengthy acceleRATE. I've not tried him as lengthy but with hunter on 3 chem he is getting behind easily and does not feel slow on the ball either. Sprint speed>acceleration unfortunately but its not noticeable in game.
Shooting- I'd have laughed if you told me he has 87 finishing without me looking at his stats. Strikes are solid and green times are rockets. It's annoying he does not have the outside boot trait but even when you trigger the command they're absolutely fine. Finesses are decent but mainly been thundercun*ing shots with him.
Passing- Probably subject to each player but his short pass is high and thats fine with me. I'm not looking to cross the ball or play long field passes with him so I feel this stat is fairly pointless. His 1-2 plays and accuracy of passes are sound though.
Dribbling- The stat that put me off the most but surprised me the most. Agility and balance are not noticeable in game and his other stats show in game. High composure which helps as every opponent seems to play 2nd man press and its hard to get 2 seconds on the ball with most players, but he keeps the ball close and very well.
Physical- No need to say much here. 6'2" tall, average build with high strength and jumping to match the heading accuracy.
Heading- Can actually mount defenders in the box from corners which I've struggled with a lot this fifa. If not for him and Maldini I'd never score.
5*4* and High/Medium work rates- No need to say much again. Perfect work rates for a ST and the 5*moves is an added incentive to say he's so cheap so thank you EA.
Links- Compared to other FIFA's, there are some amazing Serie A cards, and with the new chem system you're laughing. Quality hero links and players from the league in general.
For me there's nothing that puts me off after using him. If you had a gun to my head then maybe his stamina depending how much you abuse through balls and OTT through balls. Some people may say the agility also but its so unnoticeable I cant say its a con.
So, he is very good on the ball, he has speed, he's powerful, he can pass and even his dribbling is alright.
- shooting
- Heading after corners
- passing
- strengh
- agility (but it's alright, I personally don't mind it)
- acceleration
Hopped back on FUT after about a month and a half away from it and did this SBC because I had a good amount of fodder in the club and I figured it'd be fun to try some of the new players. I am VERY happy I did. I plugged him in alongside POTM Moise Kean in a 4-2-2-2 to try and do some of the FUT CENTURIONS BERARDI objectives. I didn't have many Serie A players in the club so I was playing him at only 1/3 chemistry with a Marksman chem style equipped.
After only two games I built a team around him so he would be on max chem because he is a WEAPON. (Also wanted to try the new Kent card with him)
The main thing I noticed once he was 3/3 chem straight away was that he pressed more effectively than any other card I have used this year. Won the ball back multiple times in the opponents half and won most if not all 50/50 tackles with defenders. The pace combined with his height and strength made it so easy to get possession back quickly.
Second, his high ball control and dribbling when going at defenders/cutting in towards the box for a shot a pretty simple move. I don't use skill moves ever (never really learned) and I felt like I was just because of how tightly you can move around when he has the ball.
Finally, his scoring ability is unreal. I mean the guy was heading the ball in over Van Dijk on corners. I scored from outside the box, close-range after beating the CBs, and for whatever reason, this guy was clear in on goal with plenty of space for a through ball minimum 5 times a game.
- Tall
- Fast
- Physical
- Pressing ability
- the guys simply got that DAWG mentality
- Low Stamina and when he gets tired he loses that pressing edge/get in behind pace so have to sub off around 70 minutes
- Passing isn't great so he needs to be played at ST not LW
- Bad Finesse shots from top/outside of the box so go for the Flair or normal shot
Did the card, because I had a lot of fodder and possible upgrade would have made me switch from POTM Kean I have used for a long time. Although he didn't receive the upgrade I wouldn't say he is bad. He is very usable especially if you have fast 2nd striker and/or wingers. He can find the net when you give him a change. That being said he isn't anything special and in my opinion Kean is still better because of his dribling and pace being better. 5* skills is nice, but I dont usually skill that much and also the skills with his size and dribbling are quite sluggish.
He is great for people that need serie a or milan links, but don't have Kean. If he received upgrade the review would say othervice.
Good in the air
Strong
Good shooting
5* siills
Fifa legend
Nice hair
5* skills arent that good since, his agility and dribling arent that good
Low acc
Worse than Kean
