The Danish Man

When I first saw this Schmeichel card come out, I was quite excited to use him. As someone of Danish descent I like trying out all the Danish players that come out and with Schmeichel, I wasn't too disappointed. I previously used gold Maignan who for me personally, was the best keeper I used so far, but Schmeichel is most definitely a contender. I started with a glove chemistry style and then shifted over to a basic and once that happened, Schmeichel turned into a godly keeper. He continuously made 1 on 1 saves against some great strikers including mid Ronaldo, world cup Dalglish, and world cup Voller. His speed was quite a shocker for me, for I didn't expect him to be as fast as he was. He was able to make multiple saves as a sweeper keeper and saved me in multiple games. While his animations might seem a bit weird, Schmeichel serves as a good alternative to Donnaruma and provides some nice links with Thuram. Overall, Schmeichel is most definitely a bang for his buck and while he may not work for many, I find that he is one of the best keepers I've used all year. Cheers!

GK Rushing.

Nice alternative GK for Ligue 1 and provides nice OGC Nice links.

3 star weak foot.

Animation choice is a bit wonky at times and could leave you wondering what in the world he is doing.

Not a lot of good nation links.
