How is he not more expensive?

Now it's no secret that Deulofeu is one of my favorite players in the world, but do not let my rose tinted glasses distract you from the fact that this card is a monster. Always a cheap beast at the start of FIFA, getting a week one In-Form has done wonders to his long term viability. Boasting a stat allocation akin to any top tier winger (rafael leao, vinicius junior, etc.) he is only ever so slightly held back by his links, but the chemistry overhaul enables him to fit into many squads one partial chem with little difficulty.

I have deployed him as both a ST and a LW to great effect, netting 30 goals and 10 assists in 30 games.

Pace 9/10- As fast as you could hope for. At this stage of the game, few players have the ability to keep up with Deulofeu, constantly beating his opposing fullback and even more so with center backs up the middle. Finds space in behind with ease.

Shooting 8/10 - Im sure most people have noticed that anyone with semi decent shooting stats firing inside the box is a goal 99% of the time. Deulofeu is no exception. Any shot that leaves his feet within 18 yards is a goal, beyond 18 yards his skill tapers out as does every players, but still hits some nice curlers into the top corner from distance on occasion.

Passing 8/10 - While passing on your forwards hardly ever matters in FIFA (Haaland will pass like prime Zidane if it means your opponent can score on you with a ridiculous goal), having a forward that can reliably link up when dropping deep or deliver a good final ball is always a nice bonus. Boasts the creativity of a midfielder , only he also gets to run in behind.

Dribbling 10/10 - His stats don't lie, high agility, balance, dribbling all combine to great effect. Incredibly slippery and hard to lock down. Controls very well and with his 4*4* he can provide any number of threats on an attacking run. Definitely has that "how the heck did he do that, it doesn't t seem physically possible" trait in all of your standard broken cards where they seem to almost be able to brute force their way through a defender by sheer force of will.

Defending 8/10 (for a forward) - Wins the ball back in the opposing half quite regularly, when you lose the ball in the opponents box, he is the most likely to steal it back and get you an easy goal.

Physicality 6/10 - Not the strongest, as to be expected for a winger. His balance helps keep him on his feet but I wouldn't bet him to beat any good centerback in a challenge or in the air. Stamina enough to last the whole game

To conclude, I absolutely cannot fathom why someone with his stats that plays the way he does costs only 40k when most high end wingers are costing 150k+
