He does his job

I packed Hierro in my first Icon Pack in FIFA 23 and decided to give him at least a chance. This was the moment when I realized that some players (mostly Icons) are underrated. Especially on Next-Gen lots of unconventional players are pretty cool and refreshing to play. But is also important to say that he is not with his current price (80k) because there are several better options for less coins. But if you got him untradeable he is a great choice.

He is pretty good if your second center back is a bit faster. He may not be the fastest but his pace is pretty decent with Shadow and he can catch your opponents striker pretty solid. Also his positioning is really good. His defending stats and stamina is nearly perfect for my playing style. In my defense he is reliable and in all aspects solid. His biggest pro is that he is lengthy this makes him meta for Next-Gen. I am personally very happy with his performance.

His cons are his passing stats. I don't like to do short or even long passes with him because they don't always arrive. Also his price is to high if you don't got him from an Icon Pack. There are several better options for his price but if you got him from the Icon Pack he is not as bad as you might think.
