87 - World Cup Hero
Who is Al Owairan? This dude is honestly really nice. I packed him from that WC hero SBC that I happened to use an icon in… so needless to say I was unhappy. However, Al Jaber has really impressed off the bench for me without even getting full minutes. His shooting is very solid, he’s pacy enough, and his positioning is spectacular. His passing and dribbling are also solid, and he has enough physical.
Shooting
He only scored 1 goal in three games off the bench, but he consistently puts the ball on target and knows how to finish.
Passing
This is where Al Jaber really excelled for me. He had 5 assists in 3 games, as his service balls to my more dynamic striker (Nkunku) were phenomenal. He ground passes, through passes, and lob passes very well and very consistently. Always makes a good pass and sets up many attacks.
Physical
Al Jaber’s physical ability on the ball is great. He doesn’t have great dribbling so his ability to protect the ball with his body is huge, he does this really well.
Positioning
By far the best part of his game. Al Jaber is always in the right spot. On feed passes from the wingers and balls from my other striker, he was always in a spot to boost he attack. He came short at the right time and made runs at the right time.
Defending
Not much to say here but he won the ball back quite a few times up top to counter with an attack.
Dribbling
Al Jaber doesn’t have great dribbling, so he is lucky to have solid physical ability. He can dribble the ball a but but isn’t dynamic and creative with the ball.
Pace
Al Jaber’s pace was passable easily, but not exceptional. He isn’t as fast as Mbappe or Werner or any fast striker, but his pace got the job done.
