Player Review
87 - Winter Wildcards
Wasn't planning on ever getting this card in my team but I packed him untradeable from world cup player rewards and thought I'd give him in a go at RAM in a 4-2-3-1. My word was I pleasantly surprised by how good he was. When I first saw this card on release day, I thought he would be a carbon copy of Ousmane Dembele's 85 IF (quick and tricky but without end product) but he quickly proved to be much more than that. His finishing is much better than the face value 81 shooting because of his 91 shot power and it was very surprising to see finesse shots and outside the foot shots hitting the side netting from uneasy angles. His dribbling feels like a dream and honestly the 91 dribbling rating feels like it downplays how smooth it is.
Overall an extremely fun card to use and surprisingly effective in div. 2 and champs qualifiers, would definitely recommend if you have coins to spare or pack him untradeable but probably wouldn't be worth it as a game changer if you poured all of your coins into him.
- Extremely fun to use because of his insane dribbling and quick skill move animations
- Surprisingly good in front of goal and outside of the box - finishing chances that I would only expect my PTG nkunku or WCH keane to finish
- 81 strength is more than enough at 5'8 to have the jam effect
- Very quick, his burst of speed and turning speed is silky smooth
- 71 long passing leaves a bit to be decided in terms of trying to make an over the top ball or to switch play (still perfectly fine for linking up play and playing cutbacks or simple passes)
- No finesse shot or outside the foot shot traits but honestly I didn't feel much of a downside to the absence of those
