One of my favorite players all time, and this card is no joke. This is the first card I have ever returned a 1+ Goal contribution per game across a single weekend league and its not a coincidence either. His shooting, passing and dribbling were excellent, but I did struggle with his physicality a little bit. I think he is a bargain on the market, but there are also a ton of really good Striker options that could be cheaper and produce marginally worse than this card. He isn't really meta, and if that's a red flag to you I'd definitely avoid buying him.
-Shooting: Del P is beyond clinical, and the 5*WF helps so much when taking awkward angled shots. Even though he doesn't have the outside the foot trait, I have had no issues with scoring with them this weekend.
-Dribbling and Pace: My opponents definitely struggled to get him covered, especially in the box. His solid agility allowed me to turn quickly on goal when needed, and he tends to keep the ball close when moving. While he isn't the fastest, if he catches an opening for a through ball he wont get caught up too.
-Passing: Tons of clutch passes, especially in the final third. Could realistically be subbed in at CAM, or given the False nine tactic and he would work wonders.
-Stamina: 85 is plenty to get through a match, and sometimes its even fine through extra time. The key to making the stamina work is to not use him as a a constant through ball target.
-Physicals: Definitely wont fight off the likes of Van Dijk consistently, or win a header. Hes just not build for that, but would fit well next to someone who can!
Div 4 player - if that disqualifies my opinion in your eyes feel free to move on now...
Got him in an icon pack and wasn't sure how to feel, 5* wf (cool), 85 pace (probably not quite enough for ST), so maybe at CAM? Okay that works, good base dribbling, decent agility, balance not great - passing needs a boost probably an engine.
I've played 50 games with him in that CAM position (20 goals, 24 assists) with either an engine or a hawk on him and it's hard to make him feel elite - there's always something that cheaper cards you can probably access have over him.
His dribbling doesn't deliver what it promises - probably a body type issue
His shooting with a hawk is good from range, but he still doesn't finish super clinically
His pace, while not bad, isn't paired with elite strength or dribbling so top class midfield destroyer types like Vieira or Rabiot etc will eat him up
His passing is fine but not insane
Anyway in sum, not super impressed have benched him for showdown Depay (I love skills) with Depay playing wide and Messi (gold) in CAM.'
Messi gold is literally better at everything I would recommend just using him.
to make one stat elite (e.g. shooting) you are losing out on others sadly (passing, dribbling, or pace)
8/10 shooting - 5* wf obviously nice, decent-to-good longshots (with hawk) - Messi gold better though and if you want him ST, I've found Kean POTM to be more clinical.

7/10 dribbling - worse than Corona Purple card, Depay Showdown etc significantly (nowhere near neymar, messi, vini, etc)
7/10 pace - not bad, not great, too slow given body type and lack of strength (i.e. can't make up for it with a Socrates type frame for example)
7/10 passing - didn't notice for better or worse really.
Price - just not a 250k card in this market.
