Marquis Marquez

If you are looking for a stay back, cover center CDM, Marquez is a wonderful and pretty cheap option. I played him in WL 3 in the mentioned squad. Ingame i switched the formation to a 4-1-2-1-2(2) playing Marquez as the central CDM. I literally never had to take him off the field, no matter how much he had to work.

Defense: His def. wr is called "high" but, to speak honestly, he works more than any other CDM I played so far. He nearly never looses a 1-on-1-situation, his physical appearence is the one of a giant and his physical presence is a pain in the *** of any attacker he is pressing on. Take him into your team and you can defend with one CDM - at least at this point of the game.

Offense: Since I had him on "stay back, cover center", he nearly never appeared anywhere close to the other player's goal - if it wasn't for pressing. So I really can't say anything about his shooting. His passing is decent if you use his right foot. His left is not too bad. You can feel that the he is not the most agile, so simply don't sprint with him with the ball. If you keep calm he nearly never fails a pass.
