Why is he one of the cheapest?!

So when I first saw he had a TOTY I was so so excited and tried endlessly to pack him. Instead I saved coins and purchased him on the market for 1.3 million. It is my biggest ever purchase on the market, and wow am I just shocked at how good he is.

First off I think people using him with a shadow are just not using him correctly and yes he has great defensive acumen his attacking prowess really just make him feel like his value for coins is just being knocked out the park.

Pace 8/10: As expected his pace is very nice with his reactions and agility being so high his movement feels a lot quicker off the ball but can be caught at long distances, with a hunter or any pace boosting chem style he can outpace a nice amount of people however you don't need him for running down the pitch..

Dribbling 11/10: the reason his Pace isn't really a thing you need to consider is if you are using the croatian mystro correctly you will be dribbling in and out of defenders with ease, his r1 and l1 dribbling is just mwah gorgeous and will very consistently create a clutch goal scoring opportunity (or if you put hunter on) will be scoring goals with ease himself. Additionally I recommend using r1 dribbling with this card and quick direction changing with small run forward into space when you understand his flow you will find him to be a lifesvaer in tight situations.

Shooting 10/10: Modric is one of those cards I knew would have good shooting, however some of the goals he would score when i thought "eh why not?", is insane the ball just moves differently when his magical boot kicks it. WITH a hunter chem style his shooting is near faultless, and as mentioned in the beginning using him offensively is the key to success with this card.

Passing Perfection: if you need a ball to a players feet while he's cooking at home for his wife modric could do it with his eyes closed and 9 pints of stella. Amazing

Defence 8/10: Defensively he is very strong, and if you focus on using him offensively winning the ball high up the pitch can be incredibly useful and makes any interactions with a defender feel more like they are interacting with a little jack russel fuelled on 7 red bulls instead of a pensioner with a walker made out of mcdonalds paper straws.

Physical 8/10: His centre of gravity and balance with a good strength stat gives him great physical ability against any attackers/midfielders he comes up against. He can also run forever his stamina is insane, ask him to run the pitch 50 times and he'd not have a bead of sweat dripping down his forehead

Overall I don't know how this man isn't more expensive as all the other totys increase he sits and honestly could not be happier he did because introducing him into my team has been just pure luxury.

Passing as if it was a video game...
