Phil The Goat Jones

I used Phil jones in a 3-5-2 with baby Ferdinand and Smalling. He shone on opposition counter attacks and is a brick wall and a force at the back. In champs coming against Mbappe, Jairzinho and Al Owairan was not an issue with Phil. I used future stars Guehi before him and Jones was levels ahead of him.

Pace- Keeps up with higher paced players

Defending- Makes little to no errors and slide tackles are on point

Physicality- Bodies everyone

Headers- A presence at every corner

Dribbling- Not essential for a CB but could be better

Passing- Same point as for dribbling
