He's alright

Hummels is a card that I was very excited to try out, as I have a Bundesliga-based team. He feels pretty good in-game with an anchor, I would not recommend using a shadow, as he needs the slight physicality boost. Defensively, he feels excellent and fast, and the 5* weak foot helps start an attack from the back. Headers are good, due to his 6 foot 3 height, I'd use him to defend corners. He isn't quite as good as Van Dijk, or any meta centre-backs, but he is ok and is pretty cheap.

One thing that surprised me about him is his passing. He can play a perfect lofted through ball to my strikers (I play a 4-3-1-2 in-game).
