Hear me out, try him with engine chem style. Initially tried him with hunter and felt clunky and lost the ball far too often because of this. thought qbojt trying with shadow (haven't yet) but had an engine chem style. he's now where I'd expect KDB to be. amazing passing, he has this cool curve pass that only he and Ronaldinho have done so far and has the glitch feeling of keeping the ball. give it a go!
