Guys genuine question why do people who pass away get extinct/become max price? Like i know its something dumb about the traders but whats the point of it? Can someone explain please.

If someone passes away, EA take their card out of packs. With that knowledge, as soon as someone dies, traders will buy all the cards of the market and then sell for 8-9k. Really scummy way of making virtual coins over someones death. Happens every year.
