What the FUCK is wrong with cutbacks? The Objective is to score goals and there's absolutely nothing wrong in scoring in anyway. By your Fucking logic we can't Take long shots, no counter attacking, No trivela, No headers etc. It's a Game and if you can score in any way there's nothing wrong. Even Kickoff Glitch, Which EA doesn't fix is a way of scoring.
