Early days. He's silky smooth. I agree with many comments in here: you need to defend manual with him because he won't do it for you. My idea is he can replace Blanc but realistically, I don't think he will. I’m nowhere near good enough, though I do always switch early and control the man at the back. Sometimes that's the other defender though, and I've got Blanc working for me with AI. If Maldini won't, he won't last.
