This card losing intercept and anticipate, while receiving only a +1 defense upgrade is going to be VERY noticeable in game.

Bruno is really only used as a CM in game, so losing the two most impactful defensive playstyles is significant, the passing and shooting on his flashback is already very good.

Cards like this are why evolutions shouldn't expire. If you want to grind and spend coins to evolve a player like this, you should be able to.

Shows how important playstyles are this year. Intercept and Anticipate in the midfield is basically like a +10 to all his defensive stats.

I find it funny that most of the comments about one of the best CDMs in the game are about price rises/falls. Just use the card and enjoy. She's a beast.

Aside from the crazy expensive options (TOTY Theo, Fantasy Mendy etc) I think he is the best all around LB in the game rn. I did Rolfo but she can't match his physical presence and is more suited to CM.

Initially put him in my team for fun, and now have realised that he is the best all-round budget DM.

Pros: Excellent defensive positioning due to work rates and intercept playstyle, amazing passing, surprising dribbling (press proven) and great shooting.

Cons: Sometimes slow in the transition to defend counters , not great in the air, PS+ is fun but realistically not that useful when being played as a stay back DM.

This lad was a club legend for me in FIFA 22, ended up selling him to Chelsea for £110m after 5 years, which helped me avoid relegation and as it turns out, was a very realistic transfer.

Reminder: playstyle+ is very important this year, but unique body types are basically on the same level.

This card is very good value. Not top tier, but definitely performs waaay above the price.

For most situations Silva is clear but it's honestly quite close depending on how you like to play.

Overall I'd say Silva though, his dribbling is just so much better, his passing is almost identical and he is left footed, which is rare among high level midfielders.

I genuinely believe he is the best pure DM in the game. He has the perfect playstyle+ combo and also that unique body type that seems to allow him to harass attackers in a way no other player can.

Obviously he isn't good in the air and his passing isn't great, but he is unmatched at winning the ball, being in the right place, and making a quick dribble away from danger.

I think they're saying it looks good as in she is ready to play and therefore get the upgrades

Tall & Lean body type is so weird - every card with it seems extra smooth on the ball even without great dribbling stats.

This guy was amazing for me in the cup and was even great as a super sub in WL - had totally ignored him until the cup.

Did him because I had nowhere else to put high rated dupes, he honestly has that FIFA 22 Gullit feeling, just a massive bully in midfield with great passing, tackles and aerial presence.

Technical+ helps a lot on the ball but obviously he is a bit giraffe like at times. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised and glad I did this SBC instead of Hamm or Rio.

If this card wasn't a woman it would be 100k+ easily.

At this point most people have enough useable icons to link women/off-league cards so I actually just enjoy getting to use them at such a low price.

Put him back in the team today and he has secured his starting spot in a front 3 of Eusebio, Dinho and himself.

What makes him so good apart from the finishing and physicals is how noticeable his first touch and passing are. First touch and incisive pass are lethal when combined with his physicalty, it means he is one of few strikers who can effectively hold up play this year.

Short review: I was concerned about the composure and physicals, but with a sentinel this card is very solid defensively and RAPID. The three defensive playstyles are doing a lot of work. Great card.

I play him as an attacking CM and he consistently makes passes no one else can. His playstyles, stats, and 5*WF make him so dangerous any time one of your forwards makes a half-decent run.

Defensively he is more than enough in a 3-man midfield but might be a liability in a 2 mid formation.

I really don't understand why people give a **** about 2-400k price swings on this card, she is literally a top 3 DM in game and makes your whole back line way more secure, especially in 3 midfielder formations.

She plays like Kante promo cards from previous FIFAs, enough said.

You literally made zero objective claims in your comment. She has intercept+ and bruiser+, in addition to the ideal work rates for a CDM and stocky body type.

I have tried TOTY Rodri and Oberdorf is clear as a pure DM due to her playstyles. I genuinely believe the only better pure DM in this game is TOTY Vieira.

Look at her playstyles, stats, work rates and body type, she ticks every box as a stay back DM.

I have just sold all my investments to buy another of this card because I genuinely can't believe she has dropped so much. I have now tried TOTY Rodri and I can confirm Oberdorf is very clear as a DM. (Rodri is more of a deep lying playmaker).

I want to try TOTY Vieira because that's the only card that might clear Oberdorf at DM.

Packed him untradeable, after 10 champs games here's my thoughts:

Elite finishing, physicality and aerial ability. Powershot+ with 5* WF is always very effective, any space and you can just smash it in. MASSIVE threat from corners.

Feels surprisingly good on the ball due to first touch, press proven and big upgrade to agility/balance.

If you like big strikers, this is your guy.

Press proven combined with high dribbling stats means he feels silky in game

I was initially a bit disappointed with him after the first few games, but after using him for a few weeks I'm really glad I did the SBC.

He's very quick, his interceptions and close tackles are great. USE SLIDE TACKLES, the playstyle+ makes them a real option.

He isnt great when it comes to physicals and that is annoying sometimes, but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Totally different player to the ones you mentioned. As a central striker Drogba is one of the very best in the game.

Play Messi and Werner as wingers/outside forwards and have Drogba in the middle bullying defenders.

I think it's very unlikely a better all-rounder CM is released in the near future. I have him, TOTY Sawa and Oberdorf and they run the midfield. This card is elite at everything except for dribbling and his dribbling is still fine.

82 stamina is really not ideal for a B2B midfielder sadly

Shadow is very clear of anchor for this card btw. The small physical boost is not as noticeable as the interceptions and maxed out pace. Thank me later.

Neither is ideal for that specific role tbh as you would want better shooting, but the Ice is clear in any case because incisive pass+ is incredible, especially when combined with elite passing stats and 5* weak foot.

Partnered him with Golazo Drogba - having two Aerial+ strikers is DISGUSTING.

This Benz can do it all; great passing, finishing and dominant in the air when using Hawk chem. I haven't even mentioned finesse+, which is still OP.

Probably Mukiele, if he gets the upgrade, but you will need to sub him out due to not having relentless and lowish stamina.

Intercept+ is the best PS+ for DMs, his defensive stats and body type are well suited to DM, his key passing stats are fine, and then he can smash in worldies given the chance.

Best budget CAM in the game, amazing value.

Tried him in place of my FB Foden and he was just as good.

Yeah, with the extra playstyles and stats I'm sure he's incredible as an attacking CM, but his flashback can do EVERYTHING due to the defensive playstyles. No way this should be a 2.5m card.

Invested in him at 70k, got scared and sold all when it didn't rise. Needed an attacking CM and bought him for 90, annoyed at myself. Man, what a bargain, him and RTTK modric are the two best attacking CMs under 500k.

First touch+ with technical, quick step and rapid might actually make up for the body type on this card. Kind of tempted to give him a try.

Still an elite lone DM for me. Tested Rice, Kante and Rodri last WL and although each of them had their own individual advantages, none of them can catch up to and physically bully attackers like Makelele.

I think the combination of Quick Step+ and Bruiser+ is unique and underrated. Used advanced defending, press X/A and watch as the opposing player gets bodied lmao.

Bought her because CDM was the weak point in my team, and she has been performing very well. Her physical presence is great due to her stocky body type and bruiser+. Interceptions and passing are also excellent. If I had to guess, the only better pure DM in the game is TOTY Vieria. Even TOTY Rodri lacks the ideal CDM playstyles like intercept and anticipate.

Great card but H/H work rates and no intercept which is so big for DMs this year.

M/H and intercept+ is huge.

Hilarious that people are complaining when this card has incredible stats (especially for 20k) and half the player base has Eusebio so not exactly hard to link.

Because this card is one of the best CBs in the game and due to icons most people can get him on full chem just with a manager.

Excellent as a more defensive CM. Obviously his dribbling isn't great, but his passing is amazing, defensive stats are good and has Anticipate, and the unique body type seems to give him extra physical presence.

It seems overpriced at first glance, but the height, body type and stats make it look like a Gullit-lite. I'll watch some gameplay/reviews but I think this card could be unique and OP.

I buy a Werner, he must get a Werner. I buy a Rolfo, he must get a Rolfo. I buy Mendy, he cannot afford. Great success.

Maybe in a 3 back formation, but any other formation, including 5 ATB, Cafu is so clear. Cafu is so strong defensively and Cancelo seems to get bodied sometimes when going in for key tackles.

Marquez is clear by far and is also amazing at DM.

Easy to pack, and so good in game that at this price almost anyone can afford to buy him with coins.

Easilf Cafu as stay back RB, not even close, I use Lodi as my balanced LB and he is great there but Cafu is unmatched defensively.

They could have given him something mid (for a CB) like pinged pass, but they literally give one of the least useful playstyles as a clear **** you to players.

There is literally no other card aside from Haaland who can compete with this card in the air.

Boniface, who is more expensive, doesn't even have aerial let alone aerial+ which makes a HUGE difference.

Of course, he has amazing passing, good defending and pace.

Got him from one of the campaign picks a while ago and though I've been trying plenty of forwards during TOTS, this card keeps coming back into the team.

Lethal finishing obviously, but the playmaking and aerial ability really make him a complete player. I also think this version is preferable as you can abuse Finesse+ on either side.

Seems great on a hunter to me. Only got him last night, but he's unreal. Maybe hawk if you take a lot of long shots.

Losing intercept+ is such a huge L. For smaller agile CDMs it's by far the best playstyle and the difference between the base version and the + is noticeable.

Drogba by far. He replaced centurions Eusebio for me.

I'm gonna give it a go in champs, I know he won't be great defensively but the balanced attack fullback in 4321/451/4141 plays more like an LM anyway...

Very good as the come back forward in 4321. I'm playing him with a catalyst - amazing passing and pace, incredible trivelas outside the box and great finishing inside the box.

He is good at "jog speed" dribbling just with left stick due to press proven but yes, don't try to dribble with him while sprinting or holding L1

The best versions of all three are all elite. Upgraded Akanji (with Evo) has way better passing though.

Yep intercept+ is certainly the best playstyle+ for a DM, I agree, but Makelele has the silver version, Quickstep+ (amazing for manually tracking back) and is very similar in other stats.

Because he is very fun to use in game, especially banging stupid power shots and it's all even funnier due to the contrast between Wener IRL and this card in game.

Typically I shoot with my attackers, and get them into great positions by using midfielders with great passing

Tevez at ST, Abedi for LW/RW/CAM. Abedi will also do a great job at LST in a 2 striker formation.

Having intercept+ increases the reach and probability of interceptions happening beyond just the base stat.

TOTY Xavi has 99 interceptions with a shadow, but base Lahm with intercept+ intercepts waaaay more passes.

Probably the first year a fullback at CB isn't as desirable (unless they have CB playstyles).
